So I just purchased Rift standard edittion and I am patching now. On the launcher I see an advertisment for the Collectors Edition Digital Upgrade, but when I click on that I only see the options to purchase the full price standard and collectors.
Is there an option to pay a extra $10 to upgrade to the collectors edition for the mount, bag, and pet that I am just not seeing?

I'd like to know as well since I only got the standard edition as I didn't think you'd be able to use the mount so early like in WoW.
On the RIFT launcher it comes up with an advert clearing saying collectors edition didital upgrade bag mount pet click here but like he said after you click all it has is the standard rift for 49.99 or the collectors for 59.99 there is no UPGRADE option like advertised
I refuse to believe they are stupid enough to spend the time creating and adding an advert for an UPGRADE which doesn't exist or are scummy enough to try and con ppl that have purchased the standard already to paying the full price again just for the extra's so how do we get the UPGRADE?
Yes there is an option. Log into your Trion account page on their home site and choose the CE upgrade there. It is $10.00 USD.
*EDIT: Just wanted to add, the website address to your account login is: https://rift.trionworlds.com
Really wish I'd seen this before buying the retail collector's edition. Since that's way more expensive and the "SteelSeries" mouse pad isn't steel at all.
If it makes you feel any better, 'steelseries' is a brand and one of the best out there in quality. You also get a USB and Book which cost about 40 bucks together.
It's a quality mouse pad for sure, just not as nice as the harder ones they have that I have at work. Haven't opened the book yet too pretty. The USB is cool I guess.
It's pretty much a requirement though, having a mount really helps and saves you 2p 50g, basically all the money you'll make in your first 17 levels or so. Then again, it's a turtle. heh
I hate the turtle, but it does save money
