So yea, this thread will help players see whats worth playing and what's not. I know from myself I'm having a blast in one of the MMORPG's mentioned below
Spent a good amount of time in just about all of those, but not playing any of them currently. Pretty much just screwing around in some single player games while waiting for the final wipe & launch for Xsyon.
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein "Graphics are often supplied by Engines that (some) MMORPG's are built in" - Spuffyre
Nothing on that list is worth playing IMHO, so I've turned to playing through the plethora of RPGs on the DS I've missed out on over the past decade.
I'm a little over 1/2 way through the new Atlus RPG ~ Radiant Historia... Excellent story that spans the course of two different yet familiar storylines with tons of traveling backwards and forwards through time, piecing together events and changing the outcomes. Its like Chrono Trigger level of awesome!
Was playing WoW but unsubbed due to lack of interestt (Xpack was fun for a while but turned into same old crap again... people not attending raids on non-farm boss nights, breezing through heroics without resting or CC, etc.) so I am currently not playing any MMOs.
Currently gonna just stick to Starcraft II while waiting on Black Prophecy OB and Torchlight 2. Might end up picking up RIFT when my buddy gets back from Afghanistan though, he already has his new computer ordered for when he gets back in about a month.
none. my lotro subscription runs out in a few days but i've only logged in once in the last 2 weeks. just not feeling it anymore. minecraft and some good ole snes will hold me over for awhile.
the struggle to free myself from restraints becomes my very shackles
Currently playing Wow and LotRO, just recently let my sub lapse for WAR - I love the game - but don't love the current population. May give Camelot another try though (Spent my life in there between 02 and 06 ;P)
Eve is free 2 play for me :P Plex ftw! (Although I am not currently playing)
I am currently not paying a sub for any game atm, got 30 or so days left of Fallen Earth free, free month of Rift, preorder head start of Xsyon (all p2p games, so I will be paying if I want to keep playing ofc)....other various trials or free games. Pretty soon though I will only be paying for one game and that is Xsyon.
So far (52 votes) are there more than 4 times more players from Eve than Wow?
Really? Lol, people at this site surely isn't average MMO players.
Well, youre looking at it a bit backwards. WoW player does not always = MMO player, many of them are JUST WoW players and know next to nothing about and have rarely if ever played any MMO outside of WoW and that being the case, also dont have anything to do with MMORPG sites like this. All they know & care for is WoW, and on the offchance they ever actually do try something besides WoW the result is "Omg this isnt exactly like WoW, this sucks. Im going back to WoW" /ragequit.
The majority of people on this site, while having played WoW at some time, are not strictly WoW players and quite a few of us have been playing many different MMOs over the past decade or so.
Its kind of like comparing someone who competes in triatholons vs someone who is just a runner, just a biker, or just a swimmer. We're the triatholon athletes, the WoW addicts are just runners who never learned how to ride a bike or swim.

Just left WoW/Rift to go back to EVE full time.
If I'm playing one of those games but don't have a subscription setup does that count?
For the first time in a very long time since I started playing online in 1999 I am not playing any MMOs.

I don't play MMOs. Not anymore.
Mission in life: Vanquish all MMORPG.com trolls - especially TESO, WOW and GW2 trolls.

WoW, Rift, and Fallen Earth - will be canceling Fallen Earth soon in order to focus on Rift and WoW.

None. Don't ever plan to play another MMO that has a subscription again.
I quit WoW and a few others after four years.. I dabble in Haven and Hearth and IL2:Sturmovik 1946.
Waiting for IL2 Cliffs of Dover in April. If anyone wants to play a game that is really skill over gear, flight sims may quench that thirst.
Edit: Damn typos.
