So I use Macs for work, so I have a Mac Pro at home (video editing/compositing), and I don't really want a debate on Macs, but I picked up the beta/trial of Fallen Earth for Mac, and I have to say I am pretty impressed with the game. Also, surprisingly few bugs with Mac client. I have bootcamp with Windows 7 installed but I might just stay on the Mac side for this one.
As for the game itself it is a lot of fun, and I am not even really that far in. I have been trying to find something to play waiting for other games on my list. I tried Xsyon, and even tried going back to Guild Wars, but I think I found my new home for a while in Fallen Earth.
There is still some stuff I am figuring out but it seems like the kind of game I was looking for. However, I have not tried crafting yet, how is the system in this game? Also, how has the PVP improved? I heard it used to be rough, any imprevements? Thank in advance for any information you may have.
Have Played: FFXI, WoW, Aion, DCUO
Waiting For: TSW, World of Darkness, SWTOR
Currently Playing: KOTOR
Tried: Matrix Online, Rift, Xsyon, LOTRO, EVE, Guild Wars

oh man id say go crafter in the begining and if you are make sure you max intelligence and perception put atleast 26 points in it each point is 5 AP. I always start a new game with a crafter or healer ya know that way ya get to group with others if and when they need a healer and crafter cause once you get to know the game , get good at it and you have a crafter your alt can be made for pure pvp and your crafter can craft the best gear for your skill lvl.
PVP is great specially when in a guild, early PVP concists of an unreal tournament type games where your transported from wherever you are you jus join a que and your transported to the arena. The Arenas are called bloodsports and its just a stepping stone to teach ya how to master your skills and ofcourse kill some time kill some players, kill that pvp craving for a bit and in the process make some Arena points that you win into buying great armor and weps that are bloodsports unique.
i Hope i answered your question some, im new myself and i too jus found my home for a while, you just missed the Valentines day special where you subscribe to one year for 100 bucks which i did. Also check alienware arena recently they were giving free CD game keys , so the game was free and also they were giving away a unique rifle with code. The Devs here always running some kind of promo like these and the weps are awesome.
