You don't need to buy Going Rogue, but I would.

Why not reactivate your account, and let that you determine your choice.

Though, if you want to work on an Incarnate, you should pick up GR.

You can apply the code you purchase from Steam to your existing account.  Steam is just a virtual storefront and it will install the coh (soon to be ncsoft) patcher.

Lovebug I would seriously advise you to ignore the EU version paying in £ on steam and buy the US version and join Freedom or Virtue servers.  I have 4 accounts to cox 2 are dead eu ones both my US accounts are live.

You can try the trial and see for youself.   https://secure.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/Store.pl?view=218 is the link to buying going rogue straight from ncsoft will cost you $29.99, £15-£20 depending on the exhange rate you can get.

The EU version is hosted in the US as well but account regions are seperated, there is no difference in latency the only reason why I would buy the EU version now is because I am either French or German and maybe have little English language skills.

I probably like you Love got turned back onto the super hero theme by dcuo but soe didn't cut the cake right for me post launch.

I wish you luck and am glad you are considering this game.  I am on freedom.

Actually, as of Issue 20 the European players will gain access to the North American servers and vice versa, so getting a European edition of the game is a better proposition than it once was.

And yes, ablsolutely get Going Rogue! Not much point to playing the game without it, and it comes with a free month.
