F2P mmo that isn't completely p2w

I'm currently looking for a MMORPG that is not completely pay to win. I know with most f2p's the cash shop will be implimented but we all know it's more prominent in more games then others.

 

So which mmo's have you found to be not completely dependent on cash shop end game to be good ?

I'm willing to give some lee-way in terms of sure you may need to use the cash shop a couple times but you wont need to be direly in need of running back to it every week.

 

I've played ddo, lotro, WoW, RoM, allods, vindictus etc. etc. you name it I've probably played it. I'm just looking for games that have kept your interest that are f2p .

 

more pvp oriented if you could, I've always been fond of the castle seige, etc big pvp war style games.

    Have you tried Cabal? Its pretty damn cool but i havent done end game in it so i dont know how the cash shop effects it.

    Vindictus easily free to play and very fun.

    Cabal looks meh.. maybe if i played that 4 years ago but just meh..

     

    vindictus is alright as far a time killer just the whole dungeon crawler feel gets tidious quick

    Champions online perhaps? I'm currently playing it and enjoying it so far (would not pay sub for it though). Not sure how PvP goes yet (I'm only level 4 or so)

    If you're in Europe, you could hop into the Black Prophecy open beta (or wait a bit if you're in the US to hit there). Game is AWESOME and very PvP oriented (a bit too much for my likings...)

    Eve can be F2P if you're good at playing the market and don't mind paying in Plex.

    Great game, though it isn't traditional F2P and doesn't have a cash shop, just the option to buy game time with ingame currency.

    yeah I've played champions online im lvl 24 sword archtype that game also got boring pretty quick x_x

    just played mytheon got really bored lol..

     

     

    anyone ever try perfect world seen they got a new addon to the mmo recently

     

    may pick that up or allods again since it seems they fixed cash shop issues
