At first i was not sure if i should post this, but afther some thinking i thought people should know.
I am player that has been in some mmo’s, and i always aimed to compeet in the end games. I am the kind of guy that love’s to do raids.
Yesterday i got lvl 38 and thought YES only 12 more lvls to go,
and because legacy has over 100+ members, i thought lets ask an officer what the plan would be since there are only 20 man raids.
So asked and didnt like the answer i got, the idea is to drop/ leave behind 60% of the members and pick those who are best .
From a certan point of view i could understand it, u want to make progress in the raids, but then why recruit so many people ???
He also told me they might do a second run, but at that point i was thinking, that means if am lucky i might join the leftovers run.
This was a huge disapointment for me.
So my advice would be to the people that are thinking to join.
Just join another guild that doesnt over recruit, or doesnt make u feel second best
Ofcourse i left, and my intension is with this post is, to give heads up.
Recruiting 6x the needed amount is overkill

Is their a reason for the white background, hurts the eyes.
sorry about that
Probably to draw attention away from the atrocious spelling.
Douche comment aside, the white background makes this nearly unreadable.
I am sorry that my english is not that good, but i am sure that your greek isnt as good as my english .
Sorry for your loss, but I think this would be better served on the Shard Forum in the Main RIFT Forum.

The larger the guild, the more nameless you will be in it. I'd prefer small guilds where everyone knows everyone.
Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)
Let's play Guild Wars 2 (blind, 45 episodes)
Right now the game is new, and my guild is over recruiting like crazy as well. The logic is that by time people get up to 50 a large majority will have dropped off (perhaps like the OP did) leaving behind a core group of raiders willing to do whatever it takes to succeed.
I'm not a raider, I stay in because they're fun to talk to, they like to run PVP from time to time, and heck, once in a while I might actually raid. But if I ever decide they don't meet my needs I'll move on and it will be no hard feelings.

Even though you posted at 3:11:11 on 3/11 your choice of fonts and colors completely destroys any coolness this post might have had. Never do that again please, there's simply no way that looks good on anyone's screen.
1. You are in a 100 men corp.
2. You realise that 100 person do not fit into a 20 man raid/dungeon.
3a. You are disapointed with they are going to remove players that will not fit into the end game goal of the guild.
3b. You are disappointed with that they will do secondary runs.
You have to remove a or b.
Otherwise it could seem that the most likely reason for your post is that you for some reason are butthurt (with a reason behind it).
I'm so broke. I can't even pay attention.

I could understand if the OP wanted to start a discussion regarding guild recruiting policies and ethics. But since this is not the OPs intention, I have two questoins of my own.
What server are you on OP? You obviously think we all share your server.
Why should we care OP? Is that guild the alpha and omega of all things Rift?
You know why that sort of things happens? Because people are selfish trolls who prefer to rant about fonts and grammar instead of commenting the topic.
It hurts my eyes when I read their replies (gramatically correct or not).
.. in the end the mmo game is only about the community and the people with whom you play the game. If the people in this guild are condescending and self-centered like some replying to your post is better to leave this kind of guild.
p.s. Please make my day and comment my "atrocious spelling" - I very like to immagine English speaking people say one sentence in my native language.
