well I check my mailz this mornin' and see my beta account is activated so i log in..
I hate to break it you all but no one is going ot play this game..
I mean theres no way on gods green earth that people are going to bypass Eq2 or warcraft for this game.. sorry
Considering I honor my NDA's i can't go into more details . Not that theres really much to get into anyhow.

Besides, if you read the NDA at launch, it says you CAN publish information about the game.

Well the game is supposed to be out in april.. so thats basically only 2 more months.

Well if thats true than this is the first thing that hit me as I logged in.
The graphics and performance are poor. I am running it on a Radeon 9800 pro card at full settings and the graphics don't look any better than shadowbane really. And it lags. I get like no more than 8 FPS or so even though these graphics should run smooth as silk.
On the other hand I could run WoW for example at full settings (which looks about ten times better) and get like 30 FPS.
i know graphics arent as important as gameplay but it doesnt help with the immersion or make you want to stick around and check out the game further..
I am sorry but the overall impression of this game as it stands now is one that looks like a amateur B rated product. At least compared to the other ones i am playing right now..
it actually reminds me more of a Dungeon siege type game than a MMORPG.. probably because of the point and click movement or something.
Call me lame all you like. And ya I posted it on the IGN boards too. So what? Nazi WISH mods probably already banned me over there for doing it. No such thing as negative comments allowed over there.

No, I wouldn't call you lame, I mean those are fair comments. I would say that it needs to be kept in mind that MR is really trying to keep the poly count low, so the graphics prolly aren't going to stack up against some of the other games out there.
Again, this is just beta as it has been pointed out, so we aren't dealing with the finished product. Still, lag is a fair thing to take issue with. But again, it's only day 2 of 2.0 beta and I am sure there will be lots of improvements to the game.
Beyond that I would suggest you put your performence issues up in the dev forums for the beta test so they know what the problems are. I mean if you don't mention it they might not fix it.
Wish's graphics are better than WoW's heck WoW doesnt even push graphic card limits, and SWG, EQ2, and Wish all do. Play galaxies, g2 Theed and tell me how laggy it is. I got like a solid 3 fps there so i can take 8fps anyday!!
people wonder why they get spam when they openly post their emails in forums that google can trawl through :P
Then the email gatherers can just trawl google for all the people who post their emails :P
Add NOSPAM in your email or REMOVE etc so the automatic email gatherers cant get u.

Ugh, my account got activated today but I can't check it out till Tuesday night since I'm 200 miles from home at a hospital for a procedure for my 5 month old daughter...
Oh well, priorities.
I hope that was some kind of a joke.
My account is active and all I got to say is ughhh........ how can a game sound so good but be so horrible.
Thank god merc comes out soon.
