The fine people at Wessex have produced a pretty cool new video featuring the Risar invasion.

Damn, that is one nice video!
Keep up the good work! Did you get the "tooth-breaker"? =P
I am the guy with the elphant and axe and also the one doing the charge emote then the horsers charge foward which was a great honour , great video but I never got to fight the boss myself, but I heard he was really strong and was resistant to different types of damage.
My favioute bit is when Sir Bastor does the charge emote with the siege weapon and then the archers fire , im the archer on the edge
Phocien of wessex made it, and he has great skills for sure
also all the trolls can stop saying that wessex left mortal online , and you can see the game in its finest moments.
Hopefully we get more events from sv.
I have not played the game but everytime I see a video with a mob, they seem to move around in a triangle going from person to person even though someone is attacking them from behind. Is the AI really that bad? Do the mobs stay and fight at all?
I like seeing the videos, the landscape with the moon and darkness and weather seem awesome but when I see the animations and people kinda floating above the grass and the bad AI in the videos, I reconsider downloading the trial.
Though I have no idea how they code it, the game obviously does not use a standard "tank holds the mob by the nose" threat management system. It's definitely not designed or tuned for that. The mobs do change targets.
Of course, if you've got a mob surrounded, someone's always going to be hitting it from behind.
Is it the greatest AI ever? I don't know. Most mob AI, in any game, is pretty simplistic. This fight's not ornately scripted, certainly, so intricate phases and such (conveniently announce by DBM or some such) didn't happen as it might have with other games.
One thing I will say - if you were attacking it by yourself, it would probably give you its undivided attention.
