I just ordered RIFT - Im sure it will be fun.

I liked Wow but quit about 3 years ago because I had pretty much 'beat' the game.

Played Conan for a while but I thrashed that till I ran out of content. 

Played EQ EQ2 Ulitma Online etc ,  even starwars online.

So I guess I was looking around at current game offerings and having a lot of time to kill for the next 5 months I decided this game probably would give me something to do .

 

Hopefully it won't be a 1 month wonder.

    The difference about this game (IMO) was I think a lot of people wrote it off as a pure WoW clone and kind of 2nd-rate compared to SWTOR, GW2, and even TERA.

     

    Then people like me got our hands on it, and discovered it' is absolutely awesome. I keep learning things that I just love - like today I discovered the ability to save separate roles - so a cleric can actually have roles for tanking, healing, AND dps. Love it.

     

    And some of the achievements are even fun to do.

    It's good and solid game that has lots of stuff to do. They are already making new content because of the great launch.. So im sure they will deliver more than a month. :)

    Can't you see for yourself?  You quit played Eq, Eq2, UO, Star wars, AoC, Wow... you quit on every 1 of those.. you will quit rift anyway... maybe in 1 week or 1 month.  Non-sense.

    since this game is pretty new (no additional content through xpansions yet) you will most likely "beat" the game in 1 month or a lil bit more... so if u only quitted wow cos u felt u did beat the game..... this one will indeed be a short term wonder for you, unless they release an xpac soon.... im just talking about your comment of "beating" the game... u only beat an mmo untill they release a new xpac with more content

    There are hardcore EQ guilds who play MMO's more then Paragon in WoW does and they have not taken down Greenscale yet and that IS A 5 BOSS raid.



    How do you justify these lies with little to no facts? Why do you post that dribble here? They just released 5 10 man raid...they have 10 5 man expert mode dungeons...1 20 man raid....another double digit Boss 20 man raid on the way that should be released with 30 days.

    if you don't feel like reading it pretty much states that blizzard took all of their good devs and put them on their latest project "Titan" and leaving the rookies to deal with wow.

    Trion is using their best devs on Rift right now so it can only get better.
