Item Shop Effect [Allods]

Hello peeps,

its been a year since i played Allods, quit after the mandatory-overpriced item mall fiasco, back then they showed 0 sign of communication regarding most of issues and i saw no sign of improvment shortly after either.

so here i  am, willing to give another spin, what im interested in is:

-How does item mall affect PvP:

What 'power' advantages players get from them and in to what degree?

permanent or temporary?

simply put: im ok with items that help ''enhance''  gaming expirience (f.e.:xp boost, backpacks, skillreset etc.)

but strongly agains  the ones that give you advantage during PvP (f.e.: in the end,A player can be potential better then B because hes a Cash Shop warrior).

thanks.

Cash Shop owns PvP through runes. No Runes = You   s u c k ! Allods Online is very much Pay To Win.

Each level in your offensive runes will give let you deal about 9 percent more damage.

Each level in your defensive runes will reduce the damage you take by about 7.5 percent.

When you know that maximum rune level is 13 you'll quickly understand that the big boys will shrug off whatever you can throw at them and will deal death like there's no tomorrow. These highest level runes are mighty expensive though, I've never seen one in game actually. I heard they'd cost about $60K to make or something in that style. There are 10's, 11's and some 12's out there however.

Unless you throw a substantial amount of money at it, you'll have to know your place in the grand scheme of things. The spitting on an elephant analogy comes to mind. Check runes first and then see what you can do.

Besides runes there are of course also elixirs that can boost a stat by 30 percent for a while, but that's not permanent like the runes.

The game has a special feel to it and it can be quite enjoyable, but if you're looking for a game where you don't need to be a cash shop warrior to be able to effectively PvP, then move along, nothing to see here. In theory you could buy everything with in game gold through the auction house, but it's going to take you a really long time to become average in PvP.

Waiting for Guild Wars 2, and maybe SWTOR until that time...

Agreed... you can't support your gaming life without the item shop items. >.<
