The Secret World: Newsletter Launches

The stranglehold of information loosened even more yesterday, as Funcom launched its first The Secret World newsletter. If you were waiting for activity in the news realm before signing up, now would be the time as they promise more in the way of exclusive content in the newsletter. Check out the piece and sign up for the newsletter.

Today we launched the very first newsletter for The Secret World focusing on the new screenshots and videos, as well as the press previews from GDC and the new website. While this newsletter definitely represents a soft start, in future newsletters we will strive to include exclusive content such as artworks, screenshots, information, interviews and more.

I am very, very excited about this game.  It'll be the first MMO I spend money on after Cataclysm.

Funcom's track record says the game will launch with alot of problems and forum bans. Someone needs to ask them about there past and present promises they've made. The day of blindly buying into hype are gone !

ould love to play it, but not going to buy FunCom games after AoC's failure to deliver. I'd rather wait for CCP's EMO RPG World of Darness ;-)

I wouldn't miss either one. Somehow I think you're cutting off your nose to spite your face, but....whatevs. It won't be my loss at least. I'm not missing out on either one of these.

Yeah, me too. I see Ragnar Tornquist = game director of TSW = also made The Longest Journey and Dreamfall + TSW launches sooner = clear choice for me.

    So, TSW it is image

A year afterwards I'll add WoD, if it is on point of release then. But that's for a year after.

This is Funcoms last run for me and I think the community will agree, that if they screw this up, they are done. No one will take them serious again.

However, I have faith and have been tracking this game since it was announced. The more I hear about TSW, the more I gain interest in it. So I will be supporting this game as its released, I don't think I will get a beta invite as I heard that first rounds are going to loyal Funcom customers.

Don't blame them, someone has to keep the doors open over there and if they have to reward players that have stuck by them with AoC and AO, so be it. I will be buying into it, unless I hear horrible things coming from the Beta community. Not horrible as the storylines but as gameplay itself.
