So here I am at work, so I check my email.  Yep you guessed it, account activated email is sitting there.  Geesh, talk about torture.  I have 3hrs until I get to leave and another hour before I get home.  Well, guess I have to put in a late night tonight...

Sorry this post is kinda spammy, but I am excited to try it out.  I know there are lots of you out there who dislike the game so far, but I wanna find out for myself.

    If you liked UO, I think you'll like it. First 5 minutes, I was let down, but then I got through all the tutorials and saw just how much depth this game is going to have. Wonderful. Also somewhat similar to Horizons on the crafting front, but with better combat IMO.

    I really want to try it out, but i only got about 10 minutes into the tutorial before the server crashed, and its still down -_-

    Yeah, the turorial is a bit like that...I have only played on my Bro's account as I am still waiting for activation. (I made him sign up two days before sign up closed, I have been signed up since July! now that aint fair LOL)
    But so far I love the game...it has a heap of potential. Can't wait to acutally play as Gil Gadal though ::::29::

    i signed up for wish like 10 months ago when they announced the closed beta

    finally get my acceptence mail today, login get to the second guy on the tutorial and server went down imageimageimageimage

    The server goes down from time to time for debugging. Sometimes it's only down for a few minutes sometimes its a few hours. The first week is gonna be like this while they fix the worst bugs, server crashes and show stopping client issues. Every MMOG to date went threw this, such is the way of things. My advice is read the story, visit the forums, keep an open mind and when the game server does come back up, try to enjoy it, help out fellow new comers, and or seek help from vet's like my self and many others in game.

    judging from the current stage of Beta, which is really no worse than EQ2 or WoW... i think the finished game will be absolutley bloody fantastically awesome
