Can I play Rift?

I looked on the site and think I will be ok; however, I would like to get people who are playing its feedback.

Laptop:

intel core 2 duo P8600 @2.4GHZ

4 gig ram

NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT

I am not a person who needs everyting to be on high to be happy.  I have no problem turning down the settings to raise frame rate.

Thoughts?

“It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money - that's all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot - it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.”

Yeah you could play it in my opinion.  I have a similar setup, just the desktop version and I can run it on low with no shadows no problem.  Doesn't look the best, but it's playable.

although a useful tool, I would prefer responses from people who play the game and have first had knowledge.
