LF some suggestions on an action rpg co-op / mmo

I am very tired of the wow, guild wars,, style mmo's . I loved borderlands, and diablo and torchlight.

 

im looking for some solid action rpg's with co op / mmo gameplay.

 

I tried vindictus and although decent it seemed very plain to me. the maps were very cut n paste, the combat was very simple , left click left click left click left click right click. it just didn't do it for me.

 

that's really the only one i have played recently. So if anyone has any suggestions on a fast paced action rpg with skills , good loot farming etc post here for me thanks.

DCUO has an action combat system, duo (co-op) raids, loot, skills etc so that might be one for you.

Another game that comes to mind is TERA, it isn't out yet but will have fast paced action combat.

You could also check out Darkspore, its in CB right now but looks like what your looking for. I'd sign up for the beta.

played the darkspore beta and i pre-ordered it, im still hunting though i don't know how long darkspore will hold up and i am really loving the action - rpg co-op/mmo world now.

srsly, if borderlands had better replayability i'd had lost my job , the multiplayer was done bad and it just loses fun after around the 20th playthrough, where as games like diablo and torchlight kept their fun, but torchlight was solely single player.

If your into PvP theres Bloodlines Champions. Another co-op rpgish game that came out a while back is Magika, you should check it out theres a demo on steam. Theres also a MMO coming out that looks alot like Borderlands, its called Firefall so you should check that out too.

Thats the extent of my ideas.

firefall looks amazing, and i hope it comes out soon. I will try magicka when i get home from work. I downloaded the demo on steam just havent gotten around to playing it yet.

Bulletstorm has a pretty cool co-op mode, no rpg element tho.

DCUO not much rpg past leveling up. Dungeon "grinder."

Bloodline Champions is pretty sweet but again no rpg element.

 

I just remembered. Have you given Global Agenda or Fallen Earth a try? Definitely trial Fallen Earth if you havent played it, and look at Global Agenda, you can usually find it cheap.

Firefall is definitely something that I will be trying too.

 

I am currently subbed to Darkfall and absolutely love the game when compared to other MMORPGs. If you have friends to play with there are a lot more things to do but it is not an instant gratification game by any means. Each gaming session should be 2-4 hours but they are always unpredictable which keeps things interesting.

 

The thing about that game is that it takes months of practice before you start to experience the best things that the game has to offer but once you are familiar with the combat as much as I am it is very difficult to log into other MMORPGs.

 

If your friends cannot handle a hard game that where the winner takes all than look elsewhere, although the PVP isnt very often.

i played global agenda a while. the real problem i had with it, is that it's incredibly , i mean incredibly boring after a month of play. It's fun but the pvp is very off and the solo play is fun the first few times you run some instances but after that its really drab.

i was addicted to GA for exactly one month then it felt like there was just no substance.

I've been playing this game called Dragonwraith.  The level 50 Demonite made me shit my pants in fear.

It won't be out soon, but Torchlight is being made into an MMO.
