Yes, although with any game, you really need to just try it. The game changes a lot once you hit 50 and has not disappointed me.

In that case if you are still not wow overburned , this will be your savior in mmo gameplay .

It combines almost all the excisting wow stuff , with the feel of a new world .

More realistic graphics , higher learning curve in classes .

I don´t think you would regret it , if you are quest overburned from cataclysme , then I would not recommend it .

Then it is sadly a bit waste of money and effort , and in 3 weeks you would find yourself bored .

Don't expect it to improve upon or come close to WoW and you might enjoy the game.

Anything is a improvement to a 6 year old engine , just wow has it charms with cartoonishe graphic .

Sorry anything beats wow endgame at this stage , of daily work .or weekly forced meeting of work .

Yes in content solo or small group wise wow wins hands down , cause it has the biggest amount of expansions .

But truth is told , cause you see the roses and smell the sweet smell , doesn´t mean the roses have thorns .

And the thorns are lately stinging a lot .

Yea but there aren't any trials yet and i suspect that trials won't come anytime soon. Is there some kind of buddy key or something that people get when buying the game ?

As far as I know there is no buddy keys yet. But honestly I got tired of wow and was looking for a new mmo. I bought Rift on a whim just reading about it on this website, I purchased it without playing any of the betas. I enjoy the game a lot. You can hit max level in a play time of about 4.5 days if you just quest grind all the way up, and then the endgame is quite nice from what I hear. There are expert versions of every dungeon in the game, and I think there is 1 or 2 raids? The pvp is fun if you don't mind balancing issues, typical battlegrounds. The graphics look nice, but not the best out on the market. Overall if you enjoyed wow, you will probably enjoy this.

Isn't Rift's endgame a daily meet at a raid too?

no matter what anyone says, if u had a good experience in WoW, and you dont care to play another game with similar gameplay to WoW... then you will very likely have a good experience in Rift and its few differences..... IMO Rift didnt do everything neither better nor worst than WoW. Rift is just a different road towards the same objective.... and you will have fun on both roads

Isn´t other game successfull cause of that , for most people endgame is not the endgame anymore .

While maybe doesn´t fit into people mind nowadays , but everybody plays for themself !

So who is to decided what endgame is , you got a raid endgame , and for others just game ended !.

Since you ain´t paying for anybody else but you , its there decision if they like endgame or the game ended .

It is just another elf/dwarf MMO, but updated for this decade.

    Worth the money? Yep.

Should you expect anything beyond a traditional MMO? Nope.
