Can you walk around as an actual person?

Just curious if you can actually walk on 2 legs, either on your ship or a space station..

From the FAQ on their site:

"Will it be possible to exit your ship and walk around on space

    stations or planets?

This feature will not be part of the release version but is not necessarily ruled out for any further expansions of Black Prophecy."

Nope, I'm in CB and it's more of a dogfighting style, think EVE but not as boring.

When your in a space station your inside of it looking around but you don't see your character just, hangars, offices, npcs on the station coming and going.

Personally if we are thinking the same thing and from me playing CB I dont see how ever walking around as your character will ever play a big factor than just walking to an NPC. I am still waiting for that all around space game. Cowboy Bebop style HELL YEAH!!

Not there (yet?) on EU servers. And as said above, what's the point to add character movement to the game, when you can just click icons to get stuff done? It's not like EVE is making a hurry to implement this feature, while it's been promised 3 years ago already. The only developer who made it possible to walk as character and do missions is Star Trek online, and we all know how that's recieved :-(

The only was STO? Star Wars Galaxies had it much earlier

Actually, Westwood that made Earth and Beyond was the first to make "Walking in stations" as a player. It felt more like the traditional MMO where you walk around and talk to NPCs to get quests, go to shops, ect instead of buttons on a screen. That would make it worth it.

There was a f2p from a loong time back (think it's still going) called space cowboy which had avatars on the station, was a very limited area though.

Yeah, I agree that I don't see a whole lot of point in being able to walk around in the space stations, it would be more time consuming

I beleive you are referring to what used to be called Ace Online? That was after Earth and Beyond.

Depends how you look at it. SWG was a ground-based game that added space functionality; Eve is a space-based game that's adding ground (well walking around a space station) functionality. STO launched with both, but neither were particularly deep.

Ace Online is the same as Space Cowboy, just re-released under another name.

But according to Wikipedia, Earth And Beyond came out four years earlier than Space Cowboy.

it would be great if you can walk in the station and outside with space suit, like in a planet for example to do on-foot quests as well as spaceships of course... :) kind of what STO tried to do and failed
