how is the armor in this game?? is it diff for every race and faction?

 thinking about getting this game and everything sounds good but how is the armor. i hate looking like a clone of another person. only game i know of that has diff armor for everyone and faction is DAOC and eq

I have not noticed rece armor. Its like in most mmos so the variety of looks isnt exactly mindblowing. The sets themselves look pretty good though my female warrior shows waaay too much skin at this point. I hope there is some armor that covers a bit more later on in the game.

You can dye any piece with either primary or secondary parts being dyed so you can always customize a bit.  It really depends on people are questing and using quest armor or doing pvp and rifts and getting favor or shardstone armor so you can see a variety.  But there definitely are times, especially in the lower levels, where you will run into other people of your class wearing the same thing.  Although this is a negative point in my opinion as well it's not to a point where it is game breaking like it was in WAR.
