Hey all, wanted to try this game out but wanted to get some info first on the official benchmark score. More pointedly how score reflects your in game frames per second.
My score on High was 2100.
I know I need to upgrade my video card and add windows 7 (64) and was gonna pop in some extra ram for better score.
What's your fps in game and what was your benchmark score on high res?
Thanks.

Can't tell you my fps as I really don't care about that stuff. If a game runs smooth enough then I consider it playable. However, for fun I downloaded this tool, which I couldn't run at all on my last computer and my score was 2551 with a load time of 10632 ms.

Firstly,
Aren't the servers still down? I'm pretty sure the answer there is yes.
Secondly,
I remember deliberately running that benchmark checker and failing miserably, yet having no issues playing the game itself. If I could recall specifics in the forum (prior to launch) they announced that the benchmark checker was above and beyond what you needed for the game so if it passes then you're REALLY good to go. Even if you fail though the game can be runnable (in some cases).
Servers came back up on the 25th of this month, so 5 days ago.... so ya.
Don't want to throw another "Vanguard: SOH" on my computer after spending good money to upgrade it to find out it still lags/low fps etc etc
This thread has been up 3 days now and after 100+ views I got 1 good reply so far (thnx Sovrath).
If anyone has a buddy key I could use so I can test it out, would be appreciated. I put my name in the buddy key thread but no one checks or gives away buddy keys up there.
I scored 1500 on the benchmark, and game is definately playable. It gets choppy running through some heavily populated areas, during large PvE group play, and sometimes when I'm solo fighting certain types of monsters(moles and yarzon seem hard for my cpu/gpu to render).
With the game being free to play at the moment, giving away a buddy key is about $40 donation to a random person. Also, with current storage concerns, if I had bought the collector's edition I sure as hell would be using the extra 330 inventory for myself.
Downloading the benchmark now... It runs perfectly fine for me on max settings (on a 1280x1024 monitor, though... Yeah, I know) but we'll see what the benchmark says.
Benchmark score: 4200 (running on the high resolution)
In game FPS: 40-60 depending on where I am.
