Im sure most fo you have seen this already, go to advanced and combine any 3 of those 10 abilities to make a class (crazy amount of possibilities, so what kind of class would you make?
Im thinking of combining Fight, Vocation, and Magic and make a class out of that, those seem to be the abilities that are most offensive oriented, si basically i will forgoe everything else for a purelly offensive character.
EDIT: apparently each class combo has a unique name (class you might say), yes, 120 of them. Thanks Manasu for the info.

Im probably gonna combining Fight, Illusion,Death.
I'm not 100% sure at this point, but I was thinking of combining Wild, illusion, and romance. This will depend on more information about how many abilities you can equip and what attributes and gear affect you abilities. But I think it would be cool to be able to have some of the crowd control abilities of illussion combined, with the ones from archery and being able to heal myself and allies on top of that would be awesome. I always loved crowd control classes and ranged classes but depending on how serious the crowd control abilities are I would try to creat the ultimate crowd control master.
I'm really really excited by this versatility!
I don't know how great my combo will be, but I know I am interested In these:

Will
Vocation
Wild
...I think I will probably go with Illusion, Vocation and Wild as a combo though.

Probably be making a support/pet char with the following:
*Illusion
*Death
*Will
Portals to all planes, spirits, teleportation and necromancy FTW!

none of those for me. I just want to build a house and be a merchant *sigh* I miss the good old UO days.
Eh? You can do that with any combo, so I don't really see your problem. Limiting gameplay for others is not really my thing so I think the class system is actually quite great (instead of having merchant classes for example).
I am interested in the following 3 combinations;
1. Fight, Wild, Vocation. This character has maxed out physical dps and will probably be my main.
2. Death, Illusion, Love. This character is a magic hybrid with good damage, CC abilities and heals, and will probably be my first alt.
3. Adamant, Romance, love. This character is a hybrid between a tank and full support and will probably be my second alt.
Edit: so these would be called:
1. Spy
2. Elemental Shaman
3. Warrior-Protector
Settled on will, magic and love.
Looks very much like a support/healer build, mentions teleportation as well (just wondering what kind of distances they'll allow for teleportation?).
Second build (should they allow alts), Fight, wild and vocation very heavy melee build.
I like that everyone is coming up with some interesting builds so far. I don't see a lot of strange ones that would seem inefficiant but they are all cool and interesting. My question is how well do you think this "hybrid" style of class making will work when it comes to grouping? Will we be able to fit the roles we want or will peopl even be able to understand what we are supposed to be doing?
I'll start with the 3 biggest AOE based branches, for epic farming, and then, at some point when I'm sitting on a mountain of money and items, I'll go full nuker.
I'll be playing with 2 friends, one of them will do the same as me, but will end up as a melee killer, the other will go support/healer to heal us while we kill trains of mobs.

Mine would prolly be death, wild, and vocation to make like a good melee + magic att and decent protection class.
Romance, Illusion and Will. Sort of a.... Bardish kind of fellow. With lots of travel options and support.
I'd pick Fight, Love, and Magic. I love a character who is adept in using a sword in one hand, and hurling deadly magic from another, while being able to cure his wounds.

... even if I didn't love bards (Which I do), I'd totally pick it. I mean, c'mon, it's Romance. (I may be biased. I have a 5 foot long sign that says 'Romance' in the bedroom. <.< )

I generally always choose a healing class, so I think I will definitely be going with Love and Romance for two of the abilities. SO excited for this game!!

Figure I can play as a stealthy archer type who can get up close and personal when need be as well.

That's awesome, I like that even though everything is very customizable there will still be names for each of the classes. I plan on being a summoner. Though from what I've read I doubt I will have any actual summons.
So my class combo is called Robber-Witch?
