MMORPG should host a combat system and interface concept contest. A contest where the public can submit drawings, details on the mechanics, functionality of the point system. These days, the developers (developer conferences) like to share ideas or simply copy WoW. Not much has changed. Whenever a company implements a new system, it never fails to take a beating by public opinion. I figured, maybe they could take the public’s ideas into consideration for designing the next generation combat system.
I bet the MMO community could come up with some great ideas. Definitely something I would like to read up on. Maybe let the public vote the top three concepts and award them in some way.
