warning about rift gm's an trion customer support

in Rift

on the server briarcliff they are supporting the rmt

reported 3 botters farming skins took video of it an got a 1 week ban outta no where emails stated for assisiting people breaking the t&c and using 3rd party programs to automaticaly farm an craft (lol?)

rang trion customer support and they are looking into it and that my account had no flags against it so it is very strange an should be reinstated within 48-72hrs

the PROBLEM is due to the ban i currently cannot log into my account to stop them from charging my credit card for 6 months play wanted to reduce it to 3months

 

 

not happy at all with this company and have taken steps with visa to block the payment going through at all

 

when the gm's contact name in xine wong you know there is something fishy going down ...

 

if your sitting on the fence id say avoid the game its very unbalanced i was going to give it 3 months an prey trion fixed all the things they said they'd never introduce into the game like pve nerfs for the sake of battleground pvp , after this i think ill just resub to wow an casual it while i wait for tor/gw2

    Dosn't mean much from someone with their 1st post.. I'am also on braircliff and i reported about 2-3 people the past week and havn't seen a single one of them since.. Sure, it took a while for them to quit spamming but once they did they never started up again.. Some of them i figure were hacked accounts though, because they were like lvl 20-40 chars doing the spamming with regular names, not the usual "sdsadsasddasA" spammer names you see.. Which makes sense because since you can't steal peoples items or gold because of coin lock the next best thing would be to use that account to spam you're gold saleing website.

    Are you sure you're from where you say you are OP? I don't want to be the grammar police here, but since this is a multinationall forum and those of us who don't speak English as our primary language put extra effort to be understood  ....

    What I'm trying to say is that you don't make much sense.

     Even I have problems trying to understand what you are saying.

    So from what I read you reported bot/gold farmers.   Then you got banned for repporting?  And from what it says helping these folks.

    Ok now it sounds like you went to your credit card company and tried to do a charge back, if so your going to get banned anyways, as they shut your account off, that is if your credit card company does reverse the charges.  You cant get a refund and expect to be able to play the game, that's not how thing work.

    OK  now lets look at this statement in red what exactly do you mean by that.  Was the gm's name that or was your name that, or did your account get hacked and they changed your name to that.   So please do clarify that statement, it does not make since.

    I really love it when folks come over here and expect us to help them get unbanned, as if there was anything we could do to help.

    I was going to subscribe to rift for 3 months and hope that Trion would fix/balance the game, but all they have done is nerf classes for the sake of PvP.  Instead of playing rift I will be resubbing to wow and waiting for TOR/GW2.

    I can see why you are angry, but I would probably have given them a call back and explain the current situation about your subscription renewal.   Unless the explicitly told you that your account will be billed for 6 months renewal; I would assume that banned accounts don't get billed.

    visa removed trions authorisation on my card is all , was banned before that happened , vauge weird reason give for the ban was i was assissting these plat aoe farmers ... because id take 20+ mins of these botters an submit it to trion if i was helping them lol , simple case of gm's helping rmt just like tehy do in wow i guess

     

    trion cs acctualy rang me at my home today and stated my account is fixed an if i subscribe i will get 10 days free added to my account and some limited edition rune items acctualy asked me to delete this thread which i delined

     

    not going back though this trouble coupled with 1.1 has turned me off completly from trion

    1. You located some gold farmers in game

    2. You called a GM to report

    3. GM banned your account for reporting the gold farmers

    4. You then contacted your credit card company and revoked Trion's access to it

    5. Then Trion contacted you to ask you to rejoin the game and they showered you with gifts

    Very vivid imagination. You're wasting your time playing video games.


     


    Here's my own scenario. Lets see how good I can be:

    1. You're a gold farmer, albeit part time one.

    2. GM caught you in the act

    3. GM banned you for obvious reasons

    4. You contacted the credit card company to request a charge back. Unfortunately you requested the charge back at the very last day of the box month time.

    5. Charge back denied. You called Trion to request they reinsate your account.

    6. Reinstate denied.

    7. You're in these forums making a rackus over losing a 30 days character you thought could make some side money by gold farming.

    How am I doing?

    well if the cap its.. as yours seems to .. then i guess your going to wear it..  .. tbh.. i was giving you the benefit of the doubt, thinking perhaps English wasnt your first language...  if it is.. .. well its no wonder they say education has been dumbed down these days.. kind of makes you wonder exactly what goes on at schools.. looks like half of them (pupils) don't even bother turning up...image

    There will be one day, when other may judge about you in the same strikt manner, then you do now on that company.

    Dont forget, nobody is free of errors, and they spend some efforts in that problem to solve it and they offered you some stuff to repair the demage, done to you.

     

    Well, i dont play Rift and i dont know that company, but what they have done, is pretty mutch alright.

    And by the way Trion has pretty good support considering how many subs they got and how fast they have had to grow to support the new customer base.

    I dont mean to bash, but what your saying doesnt make any sense. I would think before i post especailly that 100 percent of the majority of people who post on here are mmorpgs player of some type.  It was Obvious you were caught for Rmt activities either you were boting or buying gold.  Ive played many mmorpgs i have reoported rmts and never been banned or punished. I think gm are professionaly enough to do there jobs.  I think you just need to play the game fair and square.

    Well, I just had my first actual experience of someone accessing my account and stripping it.

    I reported it in game, logged off and about 40 minutes later I get an e-mail indicating that they apologized for taking so long (lol 40 minutes is not long) and that they have given all my gear back and money and it's in in my mailbox.

    So I log on and it's not in my mailbox.

    It's all on my character and my character was put back to the last place I left it. All my money was on me.

    So my thought is that if Rift actually supported and wanted to encourage rmt they would have told me there was nothign they could do or just gave me some token offer and said "deal with it".

    There's either something you are not telling us, you are blowing something out of proportion or "something else" is going on.

    oh, and my girlfriend's last name is "Chu" and she has never farmed a piece of gold in her life. She doesn't even like gardening or mowing the lawn. image

    I'm no Rift fanboy, but yeah, the story smells kinda funky.  Especially later when he claims they gave him ingame items to keep his sub and delete a post that there's NO chance that the support person would have ever seen.

    Its either when your gold seller call name is xine wong you know there something wrong.  Or like you said your gm contact name is xine wong . Theres nothing wrong with the name the gm could be chineese  . Dont blame the chineese for you being caught . I know China has there hand in the RMT business. And anybody who has had there account  hacked what the company usualy does is restore your character before the hack. No way in hell would they give items for something youre lying ass did. I think its too much of that roadside Kush your smoking man .
