First part of an interview with Colin, which doesn't necessarily show any new info, but it sums up quite nicely what Anet wants to acomplish and what GW2 is all about for those who haven't been following the development of GW2.

1. Those graphics are looking more polished than ever. Nom nom.
2. V good q's by the g-reactor guy: Asking about the instanced and persistent content and how they should be a snergy between playing either one and how the PS may lead you to different DEs is v cool to know as is they are catering to hardcore achievers with dungeons as well as casual narrative or exploration types with story and DEs.
3. I detect a hint of pride with the DEs? (hopefully a promising sign) and the reactions different testers/players have provided so far sure fires him up.
4. Still so much we don't know..................

Oh my...
Did I just see a necromancer using a scythe? :O
Think I decided right at this moment what class to roll .
Nice interview btw.
"If I had a d*ck, I'd go get laid. But we can do that next best thing... Let's kill people."
That's a skill effect if I'm correct. Looks awesome.
Eat me!
Yeah, it's just a skill effect. No scythes, at least useable by the players, in the game sadly
Are you sure? The necro is wielding one then casts som shadowlike scythe magic. So could be a weapon if we're lucky .
At 8:27 of part 2.

Its a staff skill.
100% sure, scythes aren't listed as a weapon type. Maybe in an Elona expansion though. Here is the official list for http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Weapons
Colin must be the happiest game dev I've ever seen.
It's a great interview if you plan on introducing friends to GW2 because it sums up a lot of the new concepts nicely. Many of my friends were hesitant to play the game before I showed them some interviews because they didn't want to sit through a 53 minute video on youtube.
