Runes of Magic or Perfect World are in my opinion the two best f2p wow clones, but theyre both huge time and money sinks in the later levels. youll end up spending more then 15$ a month on these games at later levels if you want to be serious. My opinion is to just get WoW theres no game out there thats good and totally free to play
If you looking to just entertain yourself for free, there are a lot better options than playing a F2P wow clone.
However, I enjoy Dungeons and Dragons Online. In my opinion it is a well put together F2P. Also, Lord of the Rings is nice. And Everquest II of course. It just depends on you. However, I agree with the above poster. If you are looking to be an actual contender in the game then I would just get WOW. In F2P games, if you want to be a contender, you will end up paying quite a lot for it.
If you are just looking at F2P then I would take this opportunity, if you haven't already, to check out other F2P games. Pirates of the Burning Sea, IMHO, is great for taking a break from the typical MMO. Also, Champions is now F2P, which is enough like a typical MMO, but has that Heroic super hero aspect that is pretty cool. I personally enjoy Champions more the DC Online.

Instead of acting like your 4 you COULD help me out with your own personal experiences?
I'd like to hear from personal experiences now rather then look at outdated reviews for most games.

Ruins of Magic best F2P wow clone on the market. May be even better.
4Story is another but the graphics drove me off.
