Hey guys, I got a lot of help on my other computer problems here, so I had another question I wanted to ask:
Which Power supply is better? Right now, I have both of these in my possession and I can easily switch my current one with the other one. I am just not sure which one is better.
The first one that I am currently using is an Antec Earthwatts EA 500 http://store.antec.com/Product/power_supply-earthwatts/ea-500/0-761345-27500-2.aspx
The other one that I am able to use is an Antec Neo HE550 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817103941
Which is better? and if I switched them would the difference be noticeable? Thanks

If I have 2 psu's sitting around, I'm using the one with more watts given they both have the same amount of connectors as they do in your case.
I don't see any real need to switch unless your current power supply is giving you problems. They're probably of fairly comparable quality, that is, decent but not great. The power supply problems that people would notice are if it is too loud, the system is unstable, or something has died entirely. And even those aren't necessarily the fault of the power supply.
You won't notice any difference at all if the one that's in there now is working and properly sized.
Well, I say that, but there is one thing you may notice: Fan noise. Really, power supplies are either big enough and work, or they are poor quality/undersized (computer will crash/reboot left and right), or they outright don't work at all (nothing turns on). Aside from that, the only thing you'll really notice is how loud the fan gets.
