Left Rift. Can't help it. Now i want to come back
I have a problem with the WoW like grinder where it feels more like i'm running in the oposite direction on a conveyer belt. Walk around as you please, but stay within the conveyer belt boundary lines.... don't run faster than the belt. You will find your self fighting higher levels. Don't run too slow on the belt. You will find your self alone because the community will leave you in the dust. What's the end result to that? They will make rifts defeat able by one toon. Grrr a conveyer belt just like WoW.
However, the environment is just too freaking beautiful (did i say that?). Too dam welcoming to leave. I have no interest in finding the end game of lvl 50. This game is good at changing the scene and dam do them graphics kick azz. Hope they dont screw things up and bring on the next expansion too late.
As a pvp'er, I only wished we could socialize with the apposing faction right from the beginning. I want to put a face on the enemy (guild names) and not just the faction name. Grow a little respect for my enemy. In many occasions, it's healthy for both factions to argue about anything/everything game related. The end result would be similar to a sandbox battle. How?... choosing a time, place, rules before the epic Fraps begins. Aye!.. Bragging rights. I seen this a lot in SWG new and old.
Anyway. I'm back.

Also in case you didn't know, you can talk in local chat and yell at the opposing faction and they can understand what you're saying. What you can't do is send whispers and have a common general channel.
/say and /emote can be heard by both factions.
P.S You can't have your stuff back.
Uh... what do you mean you wish you could see names and guild names, not just the faction name? You DO see their names and guild names, not their faction.
Im always talking with the opposeing faction lol.. its usually trash talk

The game only feels like a grind if you play it like one. I recommend you get it out of your mind that it is a race to 50. Find some groups for dungeons or do some pvp if you get tired of quests. I personally would rather explore and run around than just fight and grind through the same mobs for hours.
It is common to do rifts with the opposite faction and chat can often be friendly. Most realize it is just a game.
