Need a place to level.

in Everquest II

Im a lvl 17 warrior in Qeynos and im kinda stuck, I dont know where to level. Scarecrows are too easy, and TS is a bit too hard. We kept dieing in TS fighting skellys. I have made a couple groups and no one knows where to level. I only got like 25% in 3 hours leveling on skellys, gnolls, and scarecrows. Anyone one have some good suggestions?

    Im in Freeport but I kind of know where you're coming from. There was a point when I was at 17-18 when I couldn't really find a great match for me to fight. Tried as I might I just couldn't find much. I would advise you to just grin and bear it for a level or two because then you'll be able to fight some of the higher level mobs. Also you could maybe look around at some of the new quests added with the patch and level that way. I assume the latter would be a quicker solution. Like I said i'm in Freeport so I'm kind of out of my league here but I just thought I'd throw out some suggestions/experiences. Good luck!

    The exp is slow.  Well it is IS EQ =)  You didn't mention how many in your typical group.  At 17 I (cleric) did a lot of soloing of Calitorsis and the crabs up on the north beach.  The crabs are truly braindead grinding, but it's a dang good grind spot =)  If you have more people you can hit TS, but unless you have a full group, I wouldn't really start with the group skellies, I would start with the birds, beetles, snakes and such ... and the crabs over by the dock to Nek.  Also, of course, SH is a good group spot at that level.  There really are plenty of others, but those come to mind quickly.

    Lol great. Someone said their lvl 43 assasin gets about .2 xp per mob at best. Thats a 1000 mobs to lvl lol.

    i spent around 15 - 20 in and around ardent needle

    there is a lake there and by the cliffs there is a very smallish area that has several gnolls appear at various times that are soloable when tired of waiting for spawns, harvest and there are also those stupid lizzards and dale snakes to keep you busy

     if you search inside ardent needle there are chests which has the gnoll mastery quest ( do not destory book) and the drops from the gnoll (shawls) are good coins ( bout 3 silver each)
