I watched this game for such a long time and had alot of expectations. PW Entertainment had me with the internationally developed thing because I thought the whole PW style and gameplay would actually change. Turned out that it was a Perfect World clone with a new interface. Man was I dissapointed, the game had so much potential and offered alot of nice features but it just didn't deliver that "polished" feel to me. I think the list of 5 things that this game did wrong will be alot easier to make and probably more accurate than this one.

Most people go through life pretending to be a boss. I go through life pretending I'm not.

I've learned my lesson to stay away from PWE games.. HOTK was a great game PWE released.. It was a awsome theme park quest based pvp game.. At lvl 40 you could own a base with you're legion and fight for it in territory wars.. You could raise farms up, steal from other legions farms, ect.. At first only cosmetics were in the cash shop (at a decent price.) But 3months into the game PWE adds a new "expansion", that was suppose to give us a huge new instance + other things..

After the expansion launched it was without the promised instance and instead limited in game gold, forcing you to use the cash shop if you didn't have gold already stock piled.. I stuck around since i was pretty well off on in game gold alrdy.. 2 months after that they started offering the best gear in game for like $50.. I thought it wouldnt effect the game because whos stupid enough to spend $300+ dollars for the best gear in game? Well, the weekend territory battle started and there were several people running around with this armor on, all of them were noobs the week before.. Eventually whole legions had this gear and just farmed the rest of us..

HOTK was awsome at launch.. The pvp was great.. The territory wars were something unique and something i havnt seen in a MMO or experienced since that has been so well executed.. But PWE got greedy and ran off most its players besides the uber rich cash shop whores.

Personally I don't understand the need to bash on a game that you may not like.  So it does not meet your expectations.  So you might be difficult to please or have been disappointed in the past.  The fact remains that there are people who like this game.  I am one of those people.

I have not purchased anything from the cash shop yet I have decent gear, my own level 2 guild (casual players not guild grinders) and friends to have fun with.  I only used in game items to sell in auction house to gather the needed gold for my guild and items.  There is absolutely no need to purchase anything at least in a PvE based capacity.

I have played many MMO's and found this one to be rather enjoyable.  I also played Jade Dynasty and found the lack in story line quests to be annoying but Forsaken World has story line based quests.  Jade Dynasty also had a lack in community based atmosphere IMO but that is quite the contrary in Forsaken World.  i have met and play with a great bunch of people from all over the globe.

There are some things about the game that bothers me but for F2P I can live with them.  So for those of you that don't like this game that is fine, but if you honestly think you can do better then by all means, feel free to do so.  Until then, don't complain about something that is free and something you didn't have to download in the first place.

At the end of the day the game is free to paly and the guy was just listing a few of the things he thought the game did right. He did not say the features where origional or anything like that..

Dont see how peopel can bash a game so much when its actually free to play..

This game doesn't sound that great.  None of the features listed even remotely interest me.  It sounds like the NPC layout is convoluted and the POI routing was tacked on to try and correct it.  The pet system looks amazing on paper, but how do I handle the game without my pet while it incubates?  Encyclopedia?  Not here to read a book, sorry.  PVE cash shop?  I would not spend money on a cash shop any way.  What about combat?  What about RP?  Did they get those two elements right?

To top it all off, we have a very Japanese art style that decks out women in slight variations of the same whorish outfit, and men in weird dresses.  I see that there are a couple of western-looking male outfits, but the screen shot above the POI paragraph is a deal breaker for me.

    I will pass.

This game is only p2w if ur a hardcore pvp'er, if then. u could still get to high lvls w/o grinding and if ur rly that cheap and whiny, they hav offers for *FREE CASH* (like most good mmo's)  so sometimes u cant rly complain.non-cashers can still get most of the items in the cash shop from quests or random shops in the trading realm, and theres a money/leaf system. in short, if ur a Hardcore player, u should stay away from ALL pw games cuz they r all like that. ( got to lvl 90 in 1 year with patience in eso, w/o spending a dime. i didnt p2w)
