Maybe i am retarded but i thought open beta has nothing to do with the NDA.

Anyway i dont intend on buying or playing the game again.  I have played games from as far back as UO to most recentley Rose Online(I am just saying i am not new to mmorpg games).

Its personally not for me but others will like it.  I just expect a game to wow me from the start and unfortunately this for me does not have the X factor, but each to there own you cant please everyone.

Aye, I believe once a game goes open beta, all bets are off on NDA.

Funny I hate this game and when I did play I had an elf and thought to myself "this chargen is like SWG Lite"

So if elves have the most customization, that means humans are even worse? Wow..ouch.

By the way I judge this game conceptually. I'm not talking about the various problems with it right now, if it has no intention of coming out in April im sure it can hammer most of them out. But for me the core fundamentals of the combat system is what turns me off. Yes I know its not all about combat. But I play MMOs as an investment, meaning I don't hop and I'd be interested in playing in the long haul. Frankly -- I don't find as lackluster and old a combat system as this to be compelling for years to come, much less minutes ahead.

This static I swing, you swing nonsense has to go. Watch the Dark and Light E3 trailer, its not MXO Interlock but its damn nice. See the dragon? He doesnt just swipe or bite at mid air and people die around him like in SWG, WoW or any fantasy game. He literally snatches one guy up in his mouth, shakes him around like a rag doll and just launches him to the winds. THAT is a dragon. In Wish when I first kicked at the newbie creature, I kicked at thin air and somehow I telekinetically hit the creature. It's nonsense. I've said time and again, DArk and Light does all that Wish does and better, not only visually, but conceptually, mechanically, and in terms of depth. It both offers a depthless RPG experience and a visually compelling as well as mentally and strategically challenging combat system.

Wish will not survive that, so stop riding it already and get over it. It has absolultely /nothing/ against DNL. Wish is a niche game at best and it will remain so, both DNL And Wish are slated for this fate but if one of them is going to change thei fate the only one with a fighting chance to appeal to the mainstream or garner success is Dark and Light.

All you guys hollering about how good Wish is will be playing Dark and Light yourselves and forgetting Wish. Watch, you'll see, second Copeland gets into DNL beta. Bam he'll be playing it like EQ, 500 hours a week.

Im waiting on DnL too, so I know what youre talking about, but in the mean time I personally enjoy Wish. Obviously it isnt for everyone. Its in-depth character customization that takes quite a while, like Copeland said. Personally I enjoy that, but I do feel the combat is a little lacking, im a big fan of fast combat games like Zone of Enders and FPS like UT2k4, HL2, CS, BF1942, etc. ANyways... im starting to rant.
