Tank?

Hey guys,

 

could one of you tell me which class can tank in Tera? I know that Lancer is supposed to be the tank class, but f.e. in Aion Glads were able to tank too. Can a Zerk tank? Or any other class beside Lancer?

 

And if the Lancer is the only tank class - how boring is it? Can you kill a mob by yourself without falling asleep? Can you kill something in PvP?

Warrior is the other tank.  They rely on speed, evasion, and fast attacks.  The berserker can off-tank most mob's in the game but most of the time it's prefered to have a Lancer or Warrior do the tanking duties because they are better suited for it.

In the hands of a good player, warriors outshine lancers but only if the player is skilled.

Warriors & Lancers are very viable in group pvp,  they are good for locking down range classes with there fast attacks and stuns  (fast attacks causes interrupts to skills and can lock a player down for a few seconds by hitstunning them).

 

~future patches will change the warrior into a hybred class / they will be able to tank or DPS~
