Can you buy the difference between standard and collector's edition

Right now on D2D.com Rift is on sale for $29.95

And I'm kinda interest in the game right now, thought of trying WoW first, due to lower cost to start the first game (excluding expansions lol)

but with this discount, the two games are practically the same price, except the collector edition. As far as I understand, the collector edition comes with a exclusive pet, larger bag and a special free mount at lvl 20, I don't really care about the pet, but I do like the larger bag......and somewhat the mount, so is it possible to get those ingame? like paying extra upgrades or something (i'm not sure if Rift has a cash shop at all, so just asking that)

IIRC you can't get the turtle mount in game. You probably can eventually get a bag as large as the CE, just with in game monies off the AH, or crafted. Pet, is also specific to CE IIRC. You get to choose between 3 pets I think. 

Either way, the only thing I think you can get in game is a same slot bag through AH or crafting.

Yes u can upgrade your account to CE by paying 10e.

The good thing is that you get the mount at level 1 in all the characters u will create in that account^^

....and it is VERY helpfull let me tell you

You can upgrade from the standard edition to the CE, it currently costs £5 to do that from here in the UK via the official site.

The mount is available at level 1 but is easily replaced before you get out of the first area around level 20. A turtle mount is available after about level 40 for in-game money. The pet can't be received any other way. The main bag has 4 additional slots totaling 24. It can be replaced and as said earlier you can get 24 slot bags from crafters. Is 4 bag slots at level 1, an ugly turtle mount at level 1, and a pet worth the extra cash you would pay for them?

Just found collector edition on Amazon.com for the same price
