I have been playing Rift pretty much as my only Video game for weeks now. I make this thread to vent and to ask if anyone else has had this issue. So I'm with my guild and we are in GSB we are fighting Lord Greenscale and this is the first attempt we have gotton him below 10% hes at around 4% hp and I'm a healer. I'm healing going along its looking good getting excited we are about to down him, then I get "You have been kicked from the server" so I'm freaking out trying ot get back in I put in my info and I get "Your account has been banned or suspened" I have done nothing notable wrong I don't talk in any channels and I have not harresed anyone to my knowledge but this incident has cost me and my guild are Greenscale kill. I'm so frustrated with trion worlds because this is not the first time they have messed up there custumer support is utter crap. I have had a upgrade in my bag for almost 3 weeks now I can't equip it because it says "Accessory" in red, I ask a GM about this they say check the game files I did it did not work, so they just keep telling me the same shit about it and now this. Honeslty good game loved it but I don't think i will recamend it anymore. Its quite pathetic that someone can get banned for nothing, also they say I should have got a email with the reason I was banned but I did not.

Checked the account recently to ensure the email address is your proper email address? Sounds like it *possibly* might not be a Trion issue as much as a -you have a virus/have been hacked- issue?
Being banned sucks. Have you contacted their support about it? Is your monthly subscription setted up properly?
And your 'red accessory' item, is it the Dispoiled Band by any chance? This thread might interest you.
Put the whole thing in to customer support, if they agree you were banned inccorectly they may then say Ok lets give them the reward they missed. That said you may have been using an exploit or something, there are many possible reasons.
What we can't expect is for a MMO company to hold back from a ban because we are doing something important like a dungeon.
But I have seen this in other games before, people reinstated after a mistake and a reward they missed given to them, it does take time though.
Check every email address you use and their trash bins. Hope it gets sorted for you.
I tryed contacting the customer support about some broken quest (I was reporting bugs, to be clear). They are bots. That, or they are utterly incompetent and plainly stupid.
They give me (after 2 days) a copy/paste reply about "how to contact customer support". It's pretty obvious I KNOW how to do this, hence this talk with them. After another 4 (FOUR) days, another mail.... with EXACTLY the same content as the previous mail, teaching me how to contact customer support, and to follow the steps I ALREADY HAD 2 times before.
If necessary, I can post the whole e-mail content.
can you tell us what you did wrong that you don't see as "notable?"
Well a very simple question . Were you using a 3rd party DPS /Healing meter ?? I know of top guilds do this and have had players bannned for it. Many many MMO's frown upon this and will ban ppl for it.

That is precisely the same question I had after reading the OP. I have done nothing notable wrong, which tells me there was some known wrongdoing, what were those actions? While you might not see them as notable I am sure that someone else, especially at trion worlds, would see it differently.
