Birches in real life and in Archeage

Hello to everyone that loves ArcheAge.

It is May and everything blooms. The flowers and sprouts on the streets exude the vitality of the spring. Those flowers give us a feeling of the changing seasons upon view... The seeds could naturally flutter around before falling to the ground and start growing, or they might be neatly planted by someone and grown up within careful affection. How will it be if we can see this cycle in Archeage? Many real-life plants exist in ArcheAge - such as apples, grapes, oak and pine trees, sunflowers, lilies, corn, garlic, and so on. All them can be raised and cultivated.





Many plants that are planted by you grow little by little as the time goes and days and nights change. Player's attention is required to raise those plants healthy!

I have bought seeds from a merchant to plant grape and apple trees and then diligently raised them. While looking at the trees gradually grow up as the time goes, I have dreamt about selling the harvest for alot of money to get a bigger farm. I have also cultivated well grown fruits and cut down some of the trees to have a pleasure of building a ship later.

Then, a funny idea popped up into my head! Is it possible to turn plains into grassland by planting trees? I have ran to the dry desert location of the Garandol plains and started planting white poplars in the middle of it. Sadly, I was unable to change the Garandol Plains to grassland by myself. But, maybe it will be possible, if everyone works on this together for a few days?

We usually don't notice many things in all MMORPG's, while we focus on killing monsters. But what if we just put down our weapons and pick up a shovel for some time? ArcheAge sounds the best MMORPG to do so! Remember, while you are farming to your own pleasure, you make the ArcheAge's world more viridescent for the pleasure of the entire server's community!

I've really looking forward to the farming and crafting aspects of this game. IMO UO style farming + crysis engine =  awesome

This game sure gets more and more interesting by time. I'm holding my thumbs for the developer, they are cutting a rare but fragile gem.

Though I'm pretty sure there will be giant cultivated motives of obscenities quite all over the place :-P

 Sadly your right but its just like anything else i guess.  Give 100 people in a group a fist sized rock and one of those people will throw it at someone.  Give people the ability to grow crops, trees and other plants and someone will figure out how to make giant penis.  I guess its human nature - for some...
