Yeah I think they way FUNCOM explains it makes all factions more grey and less good/evil/neutral etc.
The first time I took the test years ago I got Templar. Every other time I've gotten Dragon. It's all because I either choose "balance" as an answer or the templar answer in the test. I've always planned on having my non-magic skills as melee (my entire build is a secret >:] )and kind of expect Dragon to have special melee style perks with templar and Ill getting something on the long range or magic side. I kind of like the Dragon's philosophy best as well.... probably going dragon, but templar would be my other choice. Sorry Illuminati... you're the most immoral haha.
All the factions for this game just sound really well conceptualized and like they can offer a ton of fun background for RP.
Personaly, I'm going for Templar. There is just something incredibly appealing from a RP perspective about playing a character who honestly believes they the agent of God's righteous wrath on earth and then going all Samuel L. Jackson/Charlton Heston on anyone or thing that stands in you way... with a really big freakin gun and a spiffy uniform
Does anyone remember that old 80's/90's RPG, " Paranoia"? It never took off like D&D, Rifts (not Rift) or Shadowrun, but it was probably one of the funniest games ever made.
This kinda reminds me of that. Now THAT was a fun game drunk with friends on a Sat night. Wait, I was too young to drink...
We will wait and see. We will then move a stone six inches to the side. This will cause our enemy to trip and fall upon the punji stick we placed a year ago. I was not here. <.< >.> o.o

I must say that the more I hear about this game, the more interested I get. The factions sound like they will all be deep and rich with story, and seeing as most everyone has at least heard of the Templar and Illuminatti, and their rich literary history, the expectations will be high. I'm also interested in the progression system that is dumping classes and levels. Any game that is committed to throwing out the Blizzard playbook deserves a serious look. Here's hoping that TSW delivers something innovative and fun. Sound like it's on the right track so far.
The Dragon and the Templars appeal to me for different reasons. The Dragon becuase I am interested in how they will fit into the game narratively. The Templars because I enjoy the idea of being a ruthless priest blowing away demons.

Dragon for me all the way. Balance is better and if I can pit one group against the other to do my dirty work for me all the better. Keeping life in balance is important. At the end of the day so is surviving.
the first time i took the test I got dragon and the second time i used my other email and answered one question differently and i got illuminati so i dont think its rigged maybe im just secretly evil

I like the "Order through chaos" idea.. So Dragons here..
Illuminati, personal gain is most important thing. It's how world goes around ;D
Wouldn't exactly call Illuminati evil, most in touch with human nature...
Templars were evil in the past...
