Graphics look awful and mercs now look like WoW characters. Terribly disappointed. Can we please have Blizzard North back ?

I found the graphics to be pretty good IMO. 

The game is a Dungeon Crawler...what do people expect for gameplay and or mechanics? 

The video seemed to show a lot of customization with the different builds...it just went super fast through the selections.

There were enough enemies on screen and the fighting played out at a nice brisk pace.

I'm STILL waiting with just as much anticipation as ever

I'm never one to bash on a game, even one I completely despise. With that said, what I just saw didn't impress me in the slightest bit. Hell if I had seen that in 2004 I wouldn't have been even the slightest bit curious as to how it played. As I would know exactly how it played. There's nostalgic and then there's archaic, this is the latter I'm afraid and not in the way that hints at old fashinoned flavor, it's simply underwhelming.

Make sure you're hating on the Aesthetics and not the Graphics. Graphics really don't mean that much.

And yes, I do consider that show about as close to gaming gospel as we have.

say what you will but i stick by my standing that there's no chance in hell a company like Blizzard will seriously be spending this much time on a game for it to not WOW people. they aren't making D3 just for nostalgia's sake, its going to be a seriously good mmo otherwise they've wasted millions and years upon years for nothing.

If this was some newbie gaming company, it would be expected, but this is Blizzard here.

No but that is an awfully cocky quote. Either they've managed to hide some amazing stuff up their sleeves or that's going to backfire in their face. A lot of people are getting increasingly skeptical about D3. Not in the last place because it should have launched years ago and it sure LOOKS like a rehashing of an ancient game fomula and concept.

actually if you click the link that was in the quote, it shows exactly what they were talking about(which the graphics wasn't one of the things on the list, which is what the OP was mainly complaining about)

 

so depends if you really hate the way D3 looks, either you're gonna be stuck with it or blame the recording device for making the quality look horrible

 

EDIT: actually i take that back, i went back and re-read and the blizz post wasn't the one who posted the list so still not sure what they meant by the post actually.

I sincerely hope it is. My perspective is just that with games like the witcher 2, Skyrim, TOR, LA Noire and GW2 all on the horizon. I just can't get excited about something like D3 at this point, especially if they release it at 60$.

This is just stupid. Also there is nothing wrong with D3 graphics.
