Probably a Marauder. They remind me most of old school dual wielding sword rogues in WOW which I enjoyed a lot.
Then again ... those inquisitors look very nasty as well ... and the Assassin is more stealthy than a marauder and probably has a ton of CC + an awesome companion.
Though the Agent was my favorite, it is too much of a ranged class for me and I don't like the need to "Duck and Cover!" all the time. I think the Agent will end up feeling like a 'slow gameplay' class compared to many of the others.
All Imperial eh? SURPRISE!
See, I can be funny too. (Don't you even THINK to report this.)

if i play TOR i would roll a bounty hunter, and i would try inquisitor. Not sure if i would play this game tho. Will try it if they make a free trial, if not.... dont think id pay for the box without trying it first
if they gonna make the game atleast slightly true to star wars universe (even though i doubt that) then bounty hunter should definitely own the majority of players.
because majority:
= noobs
=jedi
dont get me wrong, i like jedi, played star wars jedi academy multiplayer for a few years, but i just dont think star wars mmo can work without majority picking jedi/sith. it wont ever happen.

Hehe, I wouldn't dream of it.
But yeah, the dark side really calls me. (And it seems to call an awful lot of other people too which is maybe my biggest concern with Swtor: faction balance *shivers*)

And evil faction always rules in PVP, because kiddos all play good.

Yeah, the downside is they have to stand in line for pvp a lot longer. Maybe if faction balance will end up being a serious problem I'll reroll Jedi Knight, Consular or Crotch Cannon. It's always nice and challenging to be the underdog on a server imo.

Oh come on, we're not all kiddos...of course I wouldn't mind rolling a Darth Talon SI....

No. There is NOTHING nice about being the underdog. Have that in RL, thank you very much.
I just lost the last 18 PVP matches in Rift because on this server Guardians are totally pwned. It just sucks. There is nothing nice about that. Absolutely nothing.

I wouldn't go that far. Heroes were always outnumbered on the PvP servers in DCUO, but when I would get together with my group of 3 we could take on 7 or 8 at a time. It all depends on who the underdogs are. I always start out on the good side, and I'm a fairly strong PvPer. I like being outnumbered, it makes the win so much more worth it.
Smuggler here, although I'll probably give all a try to see the class story archs.
Totally off-topic, I just wanted to say I love your avatar. That Sunny Day Real Estate album (Diary) was one of my favorites back in the day and I actully still listen to it quite a lot. I loved that cover art
Back on topic....I am a sith, darkside here. I have always been part of the darkside or sith in any star wars game that had the option. I am leaning towards Inquisitor, as the warrior does not intrest me. For an alt I will definintely be having a bounty hunter.
Initially I plan on rolling a Jedi... not sure which flavor... preferably on an RP server... as well as a Bounty Hunter on a PvP server... assuming we have server choices.

LOL. First you mention "duck and cover" then crotch cannons. Nice to see I'm having an impact on these forums.
For me, if this game ever were to be released, my answer of what I'd roll would be the same as every other game I've played. Which is one of everything. Of course first thing I'd do is roll a Bounty Hunter, go to Tatooine and shoot Jawas. Its a little thing I do.

So far I have narrowed it down to one of the eight basic classes and 14 of the 16 advance classes. As for races . . . oh geez, I can't even begin to contemplate that one yet other than a fully human character will not be my first character.

i think hes making a BH and going to play it doing Repuclic quests since thre the only class in game that can do republic or emp quests. thats what bioware said anyways.

I'm going to be a Chiss Imperial Agent, not sure if it will be male or female yet though.
Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.
Is ToR going to be good? Dude it's Bioware making a freaking star wars game, all signs point to awesome. -G4tv MMo report.
I'll probably go Jedi Knight/Sith Warrior at first...depending on how angst driven I am that day :P
After that it'll probably try an Imperial Agent, I hear their stroyline quests are quite....interesting

I think we are rolling Republic since I'm guessing the Sith Empire will have more players at release.
I'm rolling Republic BH tank.

BH are Sith only
Sith Inquisitor ~ Sorc / race - Zakbark male
