So this game released a few days ago...right?

Why no reviews on gameplay, or anything related to the game since then?

It did release right?

if you play...how about some details ect?...pros/cons...incoherent wall of text ravings for/against the game....anything...

Ive been playing since a few days before the gold release.

The premise of the game is solid, no quest markers over NPC's heads, emphasis on figuring it out for yourself.

Its been released way too early though, its hard to even navigate through the tutorial quests and I have encounterd more glitches in a few days play than I have with any other game.

The magic and skill system is hard to fathom and most skills dont seem to actually work, some skills seem to be missing

entirely even though I was supposed to receive them from a quest reward.

Interface is laggy and glitches up when you change res or use interface scaling, music volume slider doesnt work at all.

Server crashes on a regular basis.

In short its got potential and Im carrying on with it for now but its no where near up to scratch for release.

So thats it??  just "its buggy/has issues but good concepts"??

WHat are the concepts?  Why are you playing this game, rather than the many others out there?

    What sets this game apart?

Or is this basically Alganon, you know the game that tried to take on wow by making wow with 1/1000th the budget and resources, and basically have to hock in game items for real money to the 20 or so people playing?

I still dont get why these fantasy mmorpgs based on questing keep comming out from indy developers when there are TONS of competition from games with nearly a decade of polish and a devoted following to them...

If they had made this sci-fi, steam punk, or something else, im sure more people would be enduring the buggs and issues to play something diffrent.

Unless they ARE trying to do something diffrent that im missing...its why im asking for more details on this game.

I find it hard to believe that an indy dev is going to release a buggy and underdeveloped fantasy quest grinder in this day and age, given how many they are, and how many people want anything but that. Theres got to be something im missing here...right?

That's pretty much exactly what they did. It's nothing like WoW, however. There are levels, but they just increase your HP/Mana, and you get points to put in your stats each level. Your skills are gained by completing quests. However, as the other poster mentioned, many of them seem to not work, or do so little, that they might as well not work. There really isn't much of a description related to the skills either.

Balance seems to be out the window. I tried playing a mage type character and encountered a good deal of difficulty, but when I rolled a melee combat character I was able to easily kill mobs I could just barely kill with the mage, and at a lower level.

The UI is, in a word, terrible. I ran into a lot of graphics glitches while playing. Having all the npc's/pc's go black, or having the inside of a structure completely disappear, so I could see the outside world from inside the building.

TL;DR: Totally not ready for prime time. I'd go so far as to say it's not even an indie title. More like a garage project.
