New Player LF Friends/Guild

I just downloaded/installed MO, got my 14-day trial and have created my initial character.  I think I'm going to enjoy this game and purchase it but I'd like to find a guild or friends to play with, ask questions, etc.  I'm not looking for handouts or have my hand held but at least people that can guide me in the right direction as I'm playing, bounce ideas off of, etc.  I've played a varying amount of mmorpg's from Ultima Online to currently LoTRo and a lot in between.  Once I get into the game, I'll be playing consistently and hope to become a viable addition to the guild and am always willing to assist others.  I'm assuing there are guilds or something of that sort but I didn't see a recruitment section on here like I have with other games.

You should look up AQ.  They are the premiere PvP guild in Mortal Online...   There are some other guilds that are still active such as Forsaken, but I think AQ provides the best bunch of guys to hang out with.

There are a variety of guilds listed, many having some significantly different play goals within the game.
