I need to know if my comp will run this before i go buy

in Everquest II

I'm very interested in playing this game. However my comp is great imo, but from what i hear, Sony didn't do a good job of tuning the game. So here are my comp specs...

Amd64 3000
1gb ram ddr400
Radeon 9600XT
6M Internet


Liked: Shadowbane, Neocron, Ultima Online(Before UO:R)
Not Sure about: DAoC
Disliked: AC1, Everquest 1, Everquest 2, World of Garbage(Warcraft), Eve Online, Jumpgate, AC2, Anarchy Online, Sims Online, Saga of Ryzom, Lineage II, City of Heroes, FFXI, Planetside, UO:R(and after)

    You'll be able to run the game well. I've seen the game look good on a 9600SE so an xt will look nice indeed.

    thanks for the post, gonna catch the lakers twolves game then head out and get it, I live in Hong Kong so you might be like wtf, but yeah =D

    I probably got enough cash to upgrade to 1.5 gb ram but is that neccessary?

    Also, if anyone wanna start me up that'd be great.

    Well depending on your motherboard, if you upgrade to 1.5 gig of ram, 3x512 mb, you may need to slow your ram down.  It depends on alot of factors, check your mobo manule.  I know I have the K8V with AMD 64 3200.  It states clearly that if I need to use 3 DIMM slots that the max ram speed will be DDR 333MHz. 

    As far as more ram, I would imagine that it would improve preformance.

    You'll be ok with just a gig of ram. If you want to upgrade it couldnt hurt though.
