Forum Rep system used to make sure only positive things are said?

Sorry I copy and pasted this because it may get deleted, but it seems they are using the rep system on the official forums to "big brother" people to make sure only positive things are being said.  Here is the link but I think it will be deleted soon.

I don't like the way they deal with the rep system.



I got a infraction for -repping someone because i disagreed with the the context of their post which promoted grieving.

they changed the rep system from something that you could send compliments to people for their posts, to a system that "rewards" people for being "helpful"



well guys guess what :P just write, "helpful post" from now on when you rep someone.

I voted yes, but I got to agree with princereaper.

The new reputation system sucks really hard and I hate that the mods read what I approve or disapprove for whatever reason. On top of that they can force their opinion on me by infracting me or deleting the rep I gave.
