Free trial confusion...

Maybe i am just really tired, or possibly stupid, i dunno. But i DLed the client and while doing that made an account but no where do i find a free trial code. 

So i come to these forums and see all the links for free trials, when i click the links it sends me to make a new account, but i already have one, so i hit sign in, that takes me to the account page.

On the acct. page there is mention of the free trial, but i still have no way to get a code to put in to access the game.

Normally i would just buy the game, but i have recently moved to Barrow Fricking Alaska, and because its so fricking remote i got crap for internet, I can actually play WoW ane Lotro with my connection, its stable but with a very high ping. Because of my location i would rather test the game with a trial then just potentially wasting 50-60 bucks.

So thanx in advance if someone knows WTF i am doing wrong or have missed.

go to www.riftgame.com and click where it says try the free trial. then you will see a big button saying to get the trial and below that button you see a link that says if you already have an account then click here (that same link)...

it will lead you to log in with the account you already created. i dont think theres a trial code, its a 7-10 day free trial just like WoW has. no need for codes i think.

also, if you can play WoW and lotro decently i doubt you would have ping issues with Rift. or at least less network lag plus Rift has a lot less people than WoW so less lag for sure

So i did that exact same process as you stated maybe 3 or 4 times before i made my intial post. 

So i thought it could not hurt to try it once more, i go to the site do all the same, and now its working... so odd, thanx though i would not have tried again if you had not said anything.
