    You'll have to forgive some people for expressing such hatred towards SOE, I'm guessing they might have been like me.... waited for EQ2 for a long ass time only to discover the game did not live up to the hype at all, this has left many people bitter. I don't hate SOE, but I will never buy another one of their games.

    Not to troll, but having joined EQ1 after years of release (about PoP era) I didn't find it to have lived up to the hype, either. Hype sucks. :p

    WoW completely destroys EQ2 in comparison and yeah it definetely doesn't live up to the name the original EQ made for it.
