EnB expansion?

I read this article, some where, some place, some time... I don't remember. It said something about Earth and Beyond will be having an expansion and will be coming back. This expansion mentioned things like new professions, better graphics, and new solar systems. Eh? image

    Never heard about that. Being owned by EA, I doubt it will be coming back.

    It doesn't make much sense to cancel the game, get the existing subscribers pissed and shake other peoples faith in all other EA games period. How much hope would there even be if it was resurrected? Unless it recieved more marketing and recieved a decent overhaul, it would probably just end up with the same fate.

    Plus take into consederation how quick EA was to kill EnB, why would they even give it another chance? They want to make money (as does every company) and I guess it wasn't making enough for them and there's no reason to believe it would change drastically a second time around. Sure it could happen but that's a bit risky and I don't think EA would be one to take a chance like that. They don't need to.

    I agree totally. Makes no sense at all.
    EA killed it and i am sure it will stay dead.

    Needless to say (everyone else seems to have covered it...) I seriously doubt an expansion will be comming out for EnB, unless another company buys the game.

    EnB, sadly, could have been a great game, but once EA dissolved westwood (best gaming company ever IMO, on par with blizzard.....CNC FOREVER!!!) they sorta killed all the projects they were working on, INCLUDING EnB...

    Don't expect a come-back...its like asking a millionare for some cash, just aint gonna happen...

    Ask Rubies of Eventide how it works out when you announce your own demise, only to be saved at the last minute. Considering that E&B is completely dead, I doubt it would fare better.
