Just wanted to mention this game on the forums. Just getting into open beta and hasnt had to much publicity. Its a great game. The mod team is active all the time,in game all the time, and the community is great. We need a bunch more players on this awesome, high potential game. The best part about it is, its FREE TPS. Feel free to check it out

They just dropped a really nice update.
June 15, 2011 UPDATE
- shadow optimization for low end machines.
- Added Nightfall and Torn Maps
- Nightfall: you can now shoot lights
- UI: do not show empty messages in chat
- UI optimized to make sure that it is running smooth on low end machines.
- UI: changed STATS in main menu to MY MERC
- UI: fixed shadow options displaying wrong selection. Changed 'OFF' to 'VERY LOW'
- Levels being updated, some floating objects have been fixed.
Optimization changes were amazing. Raised my FPS from 25 to 60.
New maps are very well designed.
Development also stated they're going to begin their marketing campaign in the next month so we can expect to see a lot more players soon.
Is it ONLY third person? If so, I`ll pass. Can't stand playing shooters over-the-shoulder.

I played in the closed beta, sorry to say but the game felt very unfinished.
Not only that but the cash shop is clearly Pay to Win.

the cash shop doesnt make you any stronger it just makes it so you can buy perm weapons

They've polished the game A LOT since closed beta.
And an optional 1st Person perspective is being added in the near future.
I recently tried Global Agenda after it went up on steam and after doing the first instance me and my friends had a good "lol". Congratulations for completing the instance here is your reward....... NOTHING PAY OR GTFO:) So i doubt il be trying any f2p mmos in a while. At least the asian f2p mmos dont go overboard like the western ones do when it comes to cash shops.
To GA's defense it is a onetime fee and then if you REALLY want loot you can buy boosters. So a small onetime fee to play a game to its full potential really, not that bad if you ask me.
Echoing the poster above me, I think I bought GA for less than 10 dollars and haven't spent a dime on it since. Well worth it imo.
