Hope people like the screenshots, was quite a hectic day of just having fun, no serious fights but plenty of action and exploration.

Looks really good, they seems to be learning to utilize full power of the UE3. Specially liked the stones with mist/water for some reason
Looking good. What camera did you use? :P
looks very good, bring more of these, I wanna see if SV have fluffed those parts of Nave that didn't look good before
Very nice pics! While graphics haven't really been a weak spot for the game in the past, they do keep improving it bit by bit while still being able to improve the overall performance of the game as well.
The mists they've used in certain areas has enhanced the ambiance of the game nicely.
Hell hath no fury like an MMORPG player scorned.
Do people really run around nekkid like that? Because, seriously, playing an mmo and getting to see schlongs all day is not my idea of nice eye-candy.
I was pleasantly surprised when I went from Apprentice to full 5 star Elite in under 2 months. I was pleasantly surprised again when I went from Elite to just barely Hardcore in 2 weeks. Apprentice, here I come!
The nudity factor (and complete lack of any sense of realism in a world where everyone's armor looks nearly identical)...just adds to the overall immaturity factor of the game. I was done when I found out I had to go to a guard to learn how to /rest. But hey - private parts aside - there's a game for everyone I guess lol. I've come to learn that sandbox just means (not finished) but I will admit, the few players that indulge the lackluster developers of games like Darkfall and MO really do enjoy their game which is cool.
Personally, I know developers are capable of so much more - so I'll wait until someone makes Shadowbane 2 or such. Now Shadowbane was good.
European (and therefore Swedish) attitudes towards nudity are considerably looser than here in the US, so I'm not sure how that is a measure of maturity. Also if you think the armors were nearly identical, you weren't looking very closely (e.g some helmets had spikes, some armor is lamellar, some leather and some plate) Of course if you are expecting it to come in vibrant colorsor expecting armor that is more theatrical than practical, you will be disappointed. http://wow.joystiq.com/2010/01/13/armory-gets-updated-with-a-model-viewer/
there are certain planned features for mo that are to counteract naked players, However being naked in MO is risky. A naked palyer will die in 2 hits from another palyer or a few hits from a creature. The reason why we are naked in the gy was just for fun adn the undead are slow so we can outmanouver them.
1 of the planned features is a heat system, depending on location and climate a player will get to hot or to cold depending on what they wear/eat also affected by weather and water. Ths is of ocurse still a planned feature but no mentino of when it will be added.
naked players in mo is actually more of a rarity now that players have rags to wear and armour is easily available. after palying mo for a while though you dont even notice the shlongs anymore but i do find it strange that male gentialia is what most people new to mo seem to focus on first.

Yep nudity is irritating...everybody take male characters and then spend their day jumping around villages naked...
But hey, other parts of game are perfect(except little bit bugged NPCs)
And I fought with AQ near Fab once good opponents
Decent; but how come the characters seem floating like 20cm above the ground in those screenshots?
If so, it is very gamebreaking to me, and I think I would have hard to to get "in touch" with the game due to that.

in the screenshots most of the characters are not floating its just the shadows are a little messed up and often dont connect to the feet. Not that floating doesnt happen thoguh but it isnt happennig in those screens at least. But really if a ltitle bit of floating is enoguh to put you off mo then there are far more things that will likely make you quit than such a small trivial thing.

I am swedish and to be honest, while you are certanly right about attitude towards nudity being more lose here then in US for example, I also consider a sign of maturity to not wave that attitude into everyones face trying to prove something, as SV seems to be doing with their "Look, we are not afraid of nudity so here are penises everywhere" strategy. They should at least consider that not only swedish people play their game.
There is a limit to everything and while I don't mind nudity, neither do I enjoy naked characters jumping on my screen every time I visit town, it is immersion breaking at very least.
To me this do not look some "minor" thing; they DO look like floating... alot. And yes, that is more than enough to keep me away from any game in 2011. "Floating characters" is a highly gamebreaking issue to me.
I might need to see some video of the game or try the game myself before I give it a final verdict regarding this, but the screenshots were not giving the game any good impression to me.

I'm in the free trial and was forced to delete and rename my character, and it wasn't anything bad, at all.
I told the GM that "I am Snot Ragg, of clan Mucosi" and he just replies "no" and told me to change it while a guy named "Dick" was right behind him. I found it funny, on top of the idea that people find a synonym for boogers more offensive than the rampant shlongs wandering about. Player GMs suck, always.
