IRC Changes Starting from today, IRC is going to receive a slight change in how it functions. All users will be required to register their nick-names in order to be able to talk in the #mortalonline, and any other official IRC Channels. This change is primarily driven by impersonations that have been occurring on IRC. In a game where Politics and Relations play a large role; doing such things can have a huge impact on many players; not to mention that impersonation of any kind is against the EULA. We advise players to use passwords that they haven't used anywhere else. Should instances occur where a username was hijacked, all you have to do is send a PM, or an Email to myself and we will work to resolve the issue. You need to know two commands: /msg nickserv register <PASSWORD> <EMAIL> Will register your current nickname to use the password and email specified. /msg nickserv identify <PASSWORD > Will Identify you once you have a nick name registered. The Nickname you are identifying into has to be your name when you run the command. |

Haha, some backstory to this; all this because of one guy who impersonated someone from WSX during the day, didn't even do much harm. Trolls - 1, SV - 0.
Well, due the over moderation of the actual forums this is hardly shocking. Is WSX even playing?
I win!!! LOL@U
