Where are all of the good online free games???

There are a few decent ones but there is only really 1 free game that can really get you hooked...

Runescape.

I had been playing Runescape for a while and I was getting sick of it.

Ive got a need for a new game...A 3D world that I can explore and  I have lots of things to do.

If anyone agrees with me or knows a good game I can play please write back.

    The only way you can have fun for a long time is to pay for something. going from free game to free game wont get you as happy as much as if you pay for one

    I would probably not be able myself to find great fun in free stuff because I am spoiled!  But this is not impossible.

     

    You really should consider games that have only a starting cost and no monthlee fees, or the opposite!

     

    Many free trials also.

     

    Dont listem to old crows, if you do you will find yourself playing bingo in a smoke heavy room despite the fact you actually hate that!

     

    Check your affinity as a player.  If your an achiever, check the high end(and the devs usually try to hide it, when I have no idea what the high end is, I assume it is the worst possible scenario(hell-o DAoC/WoW))!

    I agree.. You won't find happiness with a free mmorpg.. What you could do though is go for a trial for a couple games, and see if you like them enough to pay.

    For example: Pristontale is a fantasy based mmorpg that lets you download for free, and then play up to lvl 39 for free. You can make a whole bunch of characters lvl 39 before you decide if you want to pay for it, so there's quite some time to make up your mind. Also, the pristontale community is VERY active through www.ptprophecy.com. the game itself and basic info can be found at http://eng.prisontale.com

    I'm sorry for not having another example at the ready, but that should be able to get you started image

    Or you might try keeping an eye on Planeshift: http://www.planeshift.it/main_01.html It's still in beta, and honestly I haven't had a chance to test the new version, but it's shaping up pretty well.
