LF MMO Shooter--

--must have some sort of quest & crafting system.

I've recently tried-

APB Reloaded (otherwise good game but ruined by people using 3rd party programmes)

CrimeCraft ( I really like this game, moderate crafting but the missions get quite repetative).

Any other suggestions on something I can play, I feel loke I'm starting to suffer fantasy burnout and need a decent shooter

Id say give Global Agenda a go, closest thing I can think of besides Crimecraft. Failing that maybe Combat Arms, the forging system in there can be interesting.

There really hasn't been a lot of progress in this genre since Planetside. I'd say the genre has taken a few steps backwards since that game.

To answer your question though, right now I'd recommend Global Agenda. It just went free to play and it's a pretty good game. It's heavily instanced but it has some good mmo elements.

There are some exciting mmo shooters on the horizon, however. I'd keep an eye on Firefall, The Tribes mmo, and Planetside 2(if that even really exists).

Fallen Earth has a 30 day trial,it leans more towards the mmo side but has shooter elements.

Also there is http://grimlands.gamigo.com/ which says it will be releasing some time in 2011.

Ha! I didn't even think of suggesting Fallen Earth, which is weird because that's the only game I'm playing right now. I guess I don't really think FE when Im thinking of shooters. It's really more of an RPG, that you can shoot guns in. FE is a totally awesome game though, worth giving it a shot.
