Why not? WAR wasn't too bad, it just wasn't worth the sub for me after a while. Too many problems with the game to be paying $15 a month.

The Big News. You didn't think Mythic had us down there just to check out the next two patches did you? Nope, they have actually been very busy on something. Of course, we cannot go into what it actually is. While I can't reveal any details, I will say this...
It is substantial news. However, it is probably not what you're thinking it is. I was quite surprised when they told us about it. Is that cryptic enough? Don't worry about it too much though, as we may see an official announcement in a few weeks.
The only news I want to hear from Mythic is that DAoC2 has been greenlighted followed by the news that it will stick to the old DAoC model (3 realm RvR, persistent Battlegrounds,wide range of non-mirrored classes, etc) with most of the changes being related to graphics and netcode.

Is the time of restoration upon this game? F2P would do good for this game. Hope it happens at at somepoint this year. Even if they don't wantto admit it. F2P would make them competetive again.

About a month ago I predicted this happening in July or August in a thread I started . It would'nt suprise me one bit . I'm playing Warhammer at the moment on a 14 day welcome back offer . Its ok when theres enough players in t4 to get some RVR going .In 5 days I've only had one scenario pop up though .I think its a matter of adapt to survive for Warhammer now . Free to play would make this game a success .

I hope you'll understand when you see the announcement and the way it's done. Sometimes things need a certain setting.
I don't like the delay neither and I wish we had been able to talk about it the day after the blogger's visited us (which was the initial idea). Don't expect too much, though. It might not be interesting for you.
As for what I think, I highly doubt the announcement will have anything to do with WAR going F2P. IF anything, like others on the forums have suggested, it will probably be about a new payment plan, possibly one linked with TOR. Perhaps an RVR pack as well. It won't be anything big though with his, "Don't expect too much, though. It might not be interesting for you." Unless it's some sort of joke to control hype. I see no point in waiting though. Just give us an appetizer now, and save the meat n 'taters for gamescon.
1. They will be bringing back fortress for some of you that don't know what it is. It's the last zone you have to cross to get into city while fighting the enemy faction and a Lord npc guarding it. If there are people guarding the fortress some will be chosen and buffed into a giant champion like during city battles.
2. They will be adding capture the flag in RvR. What does that mean? each zone will have a reliq/flag a player will take it from the enemy fortress and bring it back to theirs. The reward will most likely be RP or some renown boost for everybody in their t4 faction zones.
3. There will be a T7 armor for vanity purpose. It does not give stats but you can use it as an alternate appearance.
(Hint: It looks ugly as crap, they showed the Shaman, Chosen, and BW)
4. They will add another player monster races in the game like skaven.

3rd faction is comming, they are splitting off some of the races to a third faction, no new races. If you read the blogs it hints clearly to it
