Here are my fours:
1) A great percentage of the community does role play.
2) Too much bugged spells not being fixed, ended up wasting gold to removing them.
3) 5 percent of the community does pvp.
4) pvp is too unbalanced.
Not my cup of tea sorry

My major reason was, the game was not fun for me. that's a very specific reason to a problem this individual had. Your result may vary.
Why would you be sorry? Everyone is entitled to their opinion and thats nothing to be sorry about.
Could you elaborate?
Since when is Tuesday a direction?

Like all of cryptics games it felt like a half-baked affair. I don't understand why they go to so much bother designing such a (visually) indepth character generation system, stylish graphics and then stop short of doing something great with the system. Mind-boggling anti-climax.
Lack of content. It takes me a week to reach the level cap playing semi-casually.
No end game content... at all.
No GM support. When you submit a ticket you get a copy/paste generic response that has no relevance to your problem.
Gold players should receive a monthly stipend of 400 C-Store points but good luck getting them.
Bugs run for months without being fixed. A number of missions have been broken for ages.
Boring instances. In most cases the mobs just stand around in an evenly spaced pattern almost as if Cryptic have a generic script for it. Mobs don't patrol but just stand in place.
Crafting is a joke. It's pointless crafting anything except bags cause you will find better questing. Personally I feel that a superhero MMO would be better without crafting, unless it could somehow be tied to your concept.
Open missions are poorly implemented. They copied this from WAR but completely missed the point of why it worked so well for that game. In WAR they were interesting and usually led to a nice boss encounter. You had a chance to win a part of set of unique gear for that particular tier and there was a random number thrown in with the participation percentage to decide the winner. You could arrive at the last minute and still have a chance at the top spot albeit a small chance but at least it was a chance. It gave you a reason to help out someone who clearly wasn't going to succeed within the time limit.
No update of the nemesis system since launch. It was such a cool system that regular updates could have done wonders for.
Poor update of the unity missions. Unity 2 was added when Vibora Bay launched but it's separate from Unity 1. They would have been better adding to the original system.
No new cosmic bosses since launch.
Action Figures. I'm 40 yrs old, not 6. There's something wrong when my 10 yr old nephew calls something childish.
I do like the combat system and the way you can mix powers to come up with something that works for you but like CoX before it the rest of the game is such a mess.
And here I thought I played it, guess I was wrong.
Apparently stating the truth in my sig is "trolling"
Sig typo fixed thanks to an observant stragen001.
I gave this game up pretty quickly after the dreaded "Midnight Patch" the night before launch. Too bad I had already purchased the game. Haven't looked back since. I was curious about how the game was now, a year or two or whatever later (don't even pay attention to how much time has passed since this game was released) but that curiousity was short lived.
