Start this weekend with me!

Hello peoples. I started playing last night a little and I was having a blast. However, being solo is painfully boring.

I'm making an elf atm, but I might be persuaded to make a wolf (I hear people complain that they have the biggest hitbox to be hit with, but oh well).

Let me know if you've just started or will be starting this weekend so we can be nubs together and share a few laughs. If not, I could really use a clan.

The main thing that's going to keep me playing in this game is sharing the PvE Grind and the getting ganked with others.

Hit me up on this thread or drop me a PM. I'm on the NA Server.

I have been kicking around the idea of resubbing. I played a bit and had fun but that uphill hike to get set for pvp was to much to swallow. I hear they have reduced the grind tons. I actually downloaded the client again last night, so I am on the edge.

Let me know how the pop is, and if you have found anyone to play with. I might be game to jump onboard, especially with all this change in the air. IMO for a noob, the DF2.0 is exciting. I dont miss being ganked but I do miss open world pvp in any mmo nowadays, even the FFA crowd.

    Current: BDO
Looking forward to: Crowfall & Chronicles of Elyria

You don't have to PvP. I enjoy crafting in Darkfall a whole lot.. you get ganked sure, but that to meis what makes crafting so fun. Nothing is a guarantee.

I've been having a blast so far. I watched the advanced developement videos from youtube to get a little direction and the quests have kept me busy.

Getting ganked really blows! It's so demoralizing lol. However, I've been able to guilt 3 out of the 4 ganks by telling them I was a newb and I ended up better off.

I just joined up with a couple who apparently used to be really into this game before they sold their accounts. They've given me some guidance and immediate goals for skills which is cool. The combat is so damn fun, hiding behind a rock or a tree waiting to ambush mobs and such is a blast. Running around is not.

Kind of curious to see how grouping goes. Can't comment too much on population. I made an elf and it was really quiet in my starter city. I ran to human lands to group with someone and that area had a fair amount of people. I got ganked a few there. I went back to elf land to finish my quests.

Today I made it to a major elf city and there were people again, not many, a few at best. I see a lot of declarations and assaults going with the white text and different clans at war apparently.

What i've liked - Feeling of adventure, Fun PvE combat, world graphics/feel, feeling of accomplishment making it back to the bank with everything you've gathered/looted lol.

What I hate - Getting ganked. Running around. Playing solo and be snoozy

PvP isn't my game yet, it's more survival lol and gathering everything I can while trying to skill up as much as possible.

Also, I don't know how being in a group will work since you can still hit each other. I'll have to see how it goes with my new friends who know the game more, but my one attempt at grouping me and my buddy would slaughter each other by mistake lol.

I'm having fun so far, don't know if I'll sub just yet. I'm having plenty of fun with the PvE and the prepping and I dread having to PvP. I've tried to avoid it at all costs at this point. I try to travel light without any of the high ranked stuff people have been giving me so I don't get pissed dying.

Let me know if you're playing. I'm an elf in NA.

The danger of creating a group and team up with someone is that killing and ganking each other doesn't count as alignment hit.  For a team member you are like in a wilderness area where alignment doesn't count.

Be carefully who you team up with.  I mean beside friendly fire and that like.

This is true. Personally this is what I hate with games like this and Eve. MMOs should encourage random grouping and bringing people togethrer.

One friend 10 friends makes no difference im affraid for you, if your already bored when you just started(typical new generation of gamers these days bored after hour lol) you wont last long. Game have so much to offer even solo and later clan you can never be bored if you know how to play games and in this case mmo's.

Darkfall is sandbox game that offers exciting gameplay its not a themepark where they hold your hand.

Darkfall is game specially for players who dont seek safe gameplay they carefully seek out there friends who they team up with or join clan they can trust thats all about Darkfall. So you have your typical themeparks that aloud party's with no risk or Sandbox free for all full loot pvp thats all about danger and risk.
